EVENTS SEASON GETS UNDERWAY

We’re now deep into events season, with this packed edition featuring the annual ECA Northern Ireland Regional Dinner in Cultra, second-ever AEW Awards Lunch in the Liffey Valley and an EDA Regional Business Forum in Belfast, its first to be held in NI since before the pandemic. All three events were well attended, offering great networking opportunities as well as informative updates on the latest issues, challenges and opportunities facing the electrical industry. Common themes included embracing renewables, supporting initiatives aimed at retaining and attracting staff, and getting

behind EDATA - a database created by EDA to facilitate easy, instant like-for-like comparison of electrical products. A few upcoming events include Ireland’s Electrical Awards to be held in Clontarf Castle Dublin on June 14, with a vibrant shortlist showcasing the industry’s top talent featured inside. ELECTEX Dublin is coming to RDS Simmonscourt over September 11-12, following its successful debut in Limerick in March.
