What is the Application Process?
Submit online application Pay Immigration Health Surcharge (£388 per 6-month block of visa to be granted) Pay Visa application fees (£490 - user-pay faster service may available for faster processing times – check availability at your local visa application centre)
Book an appointment online (bring passport and documents, enrol biometric information); book user-pay services.
Attend appointment: submit passport and documents; give biometric data (some applicants will need to attend a “credibility interview”)
Wait for decision: If the visa application is made in the UK, you will receive decision by email. If outside of the UK, you will be notified by the visa application centre. Standard Processing time: 8 weeks in the UK, 3 weeks outside of the UK
Collect passport : the visa application centre will notify you when your passport is ready for collection or send to you by courier if arranged
