10 Rooted Power Rituals for Female Entrepreneurs

December 2025

A Message from the Editor If the holiday season had a sound, babe, it would be the soft click of you slipping into your power like your favorite pair of winter boots — the ones that make you feel warm, steady, and just the right amount of unstoppable. December is where the real magic happens. Not the kind wrapped in red bows (though yes, please), but the kind that comes from looking at your year and saying, “Wow… look what I rooted through, rose above, rebuilt from, and redefined.”

This issue — our festive finale to 2025 — is dedicated to Rooted Power. Not the loud, flashing kind of power. I’m talking that deep, grounded, quiet confidence that grows under the surface before it bursts into full bloom. Holiday season energy is funny like that. We think it’s about the hustle and glitter, but underneath the twinkle lights and peppermint lattes, there’s a whole identity shift happening. We reflect. We reset. We choose what (and who) comes with us into the new year.

And the women inside these pages? Oh, they embody that energy like champs.

They’ve risen from heartbreak, reinvention, healing, clarity, burnout, and breakthrough. They’ve rebuilt businesses, boundaries, confidence, systems, communities, and purpose. And they’ve redefined what power actually looks like for women today — hint: it’s less perfection, more presence. Less “doing it all,” more “doing what aligns.” Less noise, more knowing.

Think of this issue as your holiday permission slip to root deeper, glow brighter, and step into 2026 as the woman you’ve quietly been becoming all year long.

So pour something warm, snuggle into your softest blanket, and enjoy this celebration of women who didn’t just grow — they grew with intention.

Erica Gifford Mills

When Life Knocks You Down and You Decide to Rise Anyway Some women read about resilience. Erica Gifford Mills became it. She’s an

international speaker, award-winning author, empowerment coach, talk radio host, and the heart behind Balanced Symmetree™ but her story didn’t start on a stage or in a boardroom.

FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS MAGAZINE The Accelerator prepares you. The Summit elevates you. The Gala honors you. Together, Lead Like a Woman, the Accelerator, the Summit, and the Gala create a full- circle ecosystem—where women prepare, rise, and are celebrated for leading with truth, courage, and influence. It started in the trenches. After facing a breast cancer diagnosis and the unimaginable loss of her son, Erica hit that crossroads we don’t talk about enough as women: Shrink… or rise. She chose to rise. Not perfectly. Not instantly. But intentionally. And from that choice, a movement was born. Balanced Symmetree™: Healing, Growth & Leadership With Both Feet on the Ground Erica’s work isn’t about “fixing” women. It’s about rooting them. Through Balanced Symmetree™, she: Speaks on stages to help women lead with heart instead of hustle Coaches high-achieving women craving depth, not just more to-do lists Writes books that feel like a journal, a mirror, and a permission slip all at once She is building a trilogy to help women be seen and heard, beginning with Lead Like a Woman. The journey starts in the Women of Influence Accelerator, a 6-week virtual speaker training, continues onto the global stage at the International Women Speakers Summit, and culminates at the International Women of Influence Gala, honoring women who lead and create impact.

Ask Erica what balance looks like, and she’ll tell you straight: “Balance isn’t equal time. It’s intentional energy.” Her version of success doesn’t worship burnout. She teaches that: Rest is not laziness, it’s strategy. Boundaries aren’t walls, they’re bridges to peace. You don’t have to earn your right to pause. It’s not just about sleep; it’s about what Boundaries, Rest & the Myth of “Doing It All”

Rooted Leadership™: Strong, Soft, and Unapologetically Human Erica’s Rooted Leadership™ framework isn’t about titles. It’s about how you show up when life is not pretty, filtered, or convenient. She believes: You don’t need permission to live fully and lead boldly Authenticity and presence matter more than the fanciest program You’re not behind, broken, or alone, you’re growing Some of the strongest trees grow in the harshest soil. Erica is proof. A Final Word to the Woman Reading This If you’ve ever felt like you had to wait until you were “ready” to launch, lead, or live fully. Erica would gently call your bluff. You do not have to heal it all, figure it all out, or become someone else before you start. The world doesn’t need your perfection. In a digital world that rewards speed, noise, and constant visibility, rooted power shows up differently. Rooted power on social media isn’t about posting more. It’s about posting from a place of clarity. It’s the difference between showing up because you feel pressure to be seen and showing up because you know who you are. Women who lead with rooted power don’t chase algorithms. They anchor messages. They use social media as a place of expression, not performance. by Ava Rose The Rooted Rise

Their content feels steady, intentional, and unmistakably theirs because it’s built from lived experience, not borrowed trends. You can feel it in the way they tell stories, share insights, and speak directly to the women who need their voice. Rooted power translates online as consistency without burnout. It looks like choosing a message you can stand on for months, not moments. It’s sharing lessons after they’ve settled, not while they’re still chaotic. It’s knowing when to speak and when silence is part of the strategy. This kind of presence creates trust. On social media, rooted women don’t overshare to be relatable, and they don’t polish themselves into distance. They share from integration. Their content invites reflection, not comparison. Conversation, not consumption. Rooted power also changes how women measure success online. Metrics matter, but they aren’t the compass. Resonance becomes the signal. A thoughtful message that lands with the right audience carries more weight than a viral moment that leads nowhere. When women rebuild their relationship with social media through rooted power, platforms become tools, not judges. A place to document growth, articulate evolution, and redefine visibility on their own terms. Ultimately, rooted power on social media is about embodiment . When a woman is grounded in who she is becoming, her online presence becomes an extension of her truth. And that kind of presence doesn’t just attract attention. It builds community, loyalty, and long-term impact. Rooted power doesn’t rush the rise. It sustains it.

Orly Zeewy The Woman Who Makes Your Brand Make Sense… Finally Some entrepreneurs talk in circles. Orly Zeewy? Honey, she slices straight through the fog like a branding lightsaber. One conversation with her and suddenly the thing you’ve been trying to

explain for three years becomes one crisp, powerful sentence that has people saying, “Ohhhh… THAT’S what you do!” She’s an author, a speaker, a brand strategist, and the undisputed Facilitator of Lightbulb Moments, the kind that turns female founders from invisible to unforgettable. A Legacy of Bold Thinkers (and One Very Brilliant Inventor) Orly’s entrepreneurial spark ignited at age seven, watching her father, an inventor with 17 patents, struggle to build and grow a successful business. His entrepreneurial journey shaped her first book, Ready, Launch, Brand: The Lean Marketing Guide for Startups , and his endorsement remains her favorite review: “I wish I’d had your book when I started my business.” Cue every daughter’s heart melting into a tiny puddle. Women, Let’s Stop Waiting to Be “Ready” If Orly could whisper one message to every 18-year-old girl dreaming big, it’s this: Stop worrying about being good enough. Start sharing your gifts. Her favorite quote? The iconic Marianne Williamson reminder that our deepest fear isn’t inadequacy, it’s our own power. That sparkle you’re scared of? It’s the whole point.

Clarity > Logos, Websites, and All the Pretty Things

Want the truth bomb? Most founders are accidentally hiding in plain sight. Your website? Nice. Your logo? Lovely. But if people can’t understand what you do in six seconds, they’re gone and they don’t tell anyone about you. Orly’s superpower is cutting through the noise and giving entrepreneurs the one sentence that finally helps people get what you do, and remember it so they can refer you to others. Her favorite entrepreneurial lesson? Bubble wrap was originally invented as wallpaper. (Yes, you read that right.) Moral of the story: if your idea flops the first time, it’s not failure, it’s feedback. Pivot until your idea finds the right audience. Pivoting Like a Pro (Bubble Wrap Says Hi)

Why Women Struggle And Why It’s Time to Stop

Orly wants every founder to ditch the myth that we need 14 certifications, a color-coded planner, and a decade of preparation to be “qualified.” “You are ready now,” she insists.

Imperfect launches build empires. Perfect plans build procrastination.

Trish Tonaj Building Legacies, One Story At A Time If resilience had a favorite daughter, it would be Trish Tonaj, the former C-suite executive turned author, global community builder, and award-winning founder of ShareYourStories.Online. She’s the woman who doesn’t just break barriers she bedazzles them, repaints them, and turns them into stepping stones for everyone coming after her. And today? She’s here to remind female

FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS MAGAZINE And for anyone convinced the early days were easier? Trish gently laughs: “Back then, there was only traditional marketing; radio, TV, newspapers, or magazine.” No Canva. No Instagram. No Social Media. Which is why the biggest myth she wants women to drop is this: From Diamonds to Pixie Dust Long before Trish was spotlighting entrepreneurs across five continents, she was climbing the corporate ladder as a national buyer for a major department store, retail consultant for De Beers (yes, those diamonds), and the queen of “last in, first out” during a time when corporations were restructuring faster than we could say fax machine. Eventually, she realized the universe wasn’t pushing her out... It was pushing her forward. So in 1993, at a time when there were no laptops, no cell phones, and definitely no Google, she launched her first business and has never looked back. Lessons From the Entrepreneurial Trenches If Trish could whisper into the ear of her 18-year-old self, she’d say: Celebrate the failures AND the wins. Both shape your entrepreneurial GPS. Because when you’re sprinting through life, pockets of time become gold. In the 80’s and 90’s they were running to a payphone outside their kid’s dance class (yes, really) and now we’re multi- tasking by tapping away on our iPhones at the ballpark. entrepreneurs; there are so many great ideas, but, you don’t have a business until you make the first sale.

8

Entrepreneurship is not for everyone and that’s okay. Because the ones who thrive? They’ve got the three D’s: Drive, Determination, and Discipline. Mentorship, Time-Outs & The Recalibration Era After 20 years in business, Trish did the unthinkable, she reached out to a mentor. That single “can we talk?” changed everything. New clarity. New direction. New book: Breaking Barriers, 10 Entrepreneurial Women Share Their Stories. Today she urges women to: Take time-outs before burnout does it for you Recalibrate your “business GPS” when your soul says something’s off Remember: a tweak is often all it takes Build an inner circle that can talk you off the ledge or onto the stage

And yes, she practices what she preaches: By Friday at 3 PM, her devices are off. Life comes first. The to-do list can wait. The Grant Program, A Conference & the Legacy Trish may be semi-retired, but you’d never know it. She pours herself into her global grant initiative, Funding For Entrepreneurs By Entrepreneurs , and is dreaming up a boutique, off-the-grid conference where changemakers can meet face-to-face and spark real impact. Her purpose now is simple and powerful: create waves of change for the entrepreneurs who need it most. Behind the awards and global impact is a woman who dances in her kitchen to Annie Lennox, devours biographies of barrier-breaking women, and once survived a whole life- changing season fueled by cupcakes and green tea. She believes every entrepreneur deserves someone cheering loudly from the sidelines. And Trish always says, “Give yourself the grace to make mistakes. That’s where you’ll find new opportunities.” The Heart of Trish Tonaj

Rooted Power Rituals for Female Entrepreneurs

This isn’t a to-do list — it’s a velvet-lined reminder of who you are becoming. Rooted Power isn’t loud, rushed, or hustle-hungry. She’s grounded. She’s intentional. She rises without burning herself down. These rituals are your cozy-but-commanding checklist for redefining success, protecting your energy, and stepping into your next era with grace, clarity, and just enough sass to keep it fun. Slip these into your days like your favorite lipstick — small, powerful, and impossible to ignore.

Ground Before You Grind Start your day with something that anchors you — a breath, a stretch, a mantra, a moment of silence that says, “I decide the energy today — not the world.” Audit Your Yeses If it drains you, confuses you, or feels like emotional glitter fallout… it’s a no. Rooted queens protect their bandwidth like it’s fine jewelry. Tend to Your Inner Garden Reflect on what grew this year — and what needs to be gracefully composted. (Yes, this includes that offer you hate selling.) Rebuild With Intention, Not Hustle Rebuilding doesn’t mean rebuilding everything. Pick the one thing that makes 2026 smoother — and pour into that.

Redefine Success Quietly Ask yourself: “What does success look like for the woman I’m becoming?” Let THAT guide your next move.

Rooted Power Rituals for Female Entrepreneurs 10

Upgrade Your Boundaries Like a Software Update Delete old patterns, enhance your protection settings, and install new standards that actually support the version of you rising. Choose Ease as Your Holiday Theme If it doesn’t feel like slipping into your favorite soft robe… it’s too hard. Ease is not laziness — it’s alignment.

6 7 8 9 10

Let Your Voice Lead, Not Your Fear Say the thing. Launch the thing. Pitch the thing. Fear gets a seat in the sleigh — but it does not get to drive.

Celebrate the Micro-Wins Every rooted woman knows growth often happens in tiny, quiet increments. Cheers to the subtle shifts no one saw you make. Step Into 2026 Like You’re Redefining the Entire Game Because you are. You’re not repeating the year — you’re reinventing the woman running it.

Rooted Power doesn’t ask for permission — she plants herself and grows anyway. As you move toward 2026, let these rituals be your quiet rebellion against burnout and your soft declaration of becoming. You’re not here to repeat patterns or replay old roles. You’re here to redefine the rules, rewrite the rhythm, and rise in a way that feels deliciously yours. Now straighten your crown, sip something warm, and walk forward like the whole game just changed — because, babe, it did.

Sharise Nance

Your Energy Is Your Empire: Meet The Woman Redefining Burnout Culture If burnout had a whistleblower, it would be Sharise Nance LCSW, CCTP. Licensed clinical social worker. Trauma specialist. Award-winning author. Globally known as The Compassion Fatigue Lady. She doesn’t just “raise awareness” about burnout she walks in, flips on the fluorescent

lights, and says, “Sis, this is not sustainable, and we both know it.”

FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS MAGAZINE Vitamin C Healing & Becoming “The Compassion Fatigue Lady” Her second company, Vitamin C Healing , started as a book idea. Her husband named it. A mentor pushed her to find her thing. Her first business, Hand in Hand Counseling Services , started part-time with a college friend. When the private practice got busy, she had to choose. At a conference, another woman dropped the line that changed everything: “You’ve got to put a bad win date on it.” So she did. July 7, 2017. The day she walked out of her full-time job and into full-time entrepreneurship terrified and powerfully aligned. From Little Girl Boss Vision to Full-Blown Empire Sharise grew up watching entrepreneurship at the kitchen table. Her grandparents ran businesses. Her grandmother, lovingly nicknamed “The General” was the definition of a boss: finger pointed, standards high, heart soft. By seven or eight, Sharise already had the vision: Sharp suit. Red shoes. Corner office. A building full of people doing meaningful work. She chose the helping path first social work, mental health therapy, agency, and corporate roles and even dabbled in network marketing. The real gift? That world toughened her up for entrepreneurship: rejection, asking for the sale, and doing it scared.

12

That “thing” became compassion fatigue the cost of caring so deeply that your emotional tank stays on E. She calls it the common cold of helping professionals and yes, that includes coaches, service providers, and big-hearted entrepreneurs carrying everybody’s emotions like a purse. Sharise teaches women to: Treat their energy like their most valuable business asset Use boundaries as a strategy, not a personality flaw Build an immunity to burnout with recovery, rest, and realistic expectations Because your nervous system is your productivity system if it’s fried, your empire is too.

Mindful Empathy, Not Martyrdom

Sharise doesn’t tell you to stop caring. She teaches mindful empathy holding space for clients without drowning in their stories. She’s a therapist with a therapist and an entrepreneur with a coach. Her stance? You don’t need to be “strong enough” to do this alone. Thinking about quitting? She won’t hit you with a cliché “never give up.” She’ll ask: Why did you start? What do you actually need, rest, support, clarity, or a pivot? Are you burned out on your business, or burned out on how you’re treating yourself inside your business? Sometimes the answer isn’t “quit it’s pause, reset, and re-enter differently. Mic-Drop Reminder + Where to Find Her Sharise’s core truth for every ambitious woman: “You can’t be a top performer if you don’t feel well. Prioritize your wellbeing.” If your calendar is full but you feel empty, that’s your cue. Your energy is not a side note to your business, your energy is the business.

Denielle Mohonathan

How Denielle Mohonathan Found Her Purpose (And Helps You Find Yours) Some women “find” their purpose. Denielle’s purpose kicked the door down and said, “We’re doing this.” She didn’t plan to become a spiritual wellbeing guide, movement practitioner, and purpose unblocker. She was happily in corporate in the UAE, until she wasn’t. A sudden job loss in a foreign country could have been the breakdown. Instead, it became the portal. When Life Pulls the Plug… and Flips the Light On

One day, corporate structure. The next, “We’re restructuring, goodbye.” In that uncomfortable free fall, life started quietly rearranging things in her favor. She was introduced to Thinking Into Results Programme (Bob Proctor’s work on turning thoughts into reality), gifted a Reiki course, and nudged back into the world of movement, something that had always been her love language with life. From there, the breadcrumbs appeared: She began creating movement workshops called ‘From Medication to Meditation’ , anchored in the belief that the real medicine lives inside us when we dare to heal. She studied Ikigai, the Japanese concept of a life’s purpose, and became certified to help others find theirs. She wove these threads into a seven-module experience that keeps bringing women back to one place: the present moment. Only then did she step back and realize… “Wait. I don’t just have tools. I have a business.” That’s how Lumiere was born, French for “light,” a brand built around turning on the inner switches you forgot you had.

FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS MAGAZINE

14

Healing, Purpose & Your Life Board of Directors Denielle doesn’t do “fix yourself” energy. She does love yourself, all of you, even the messy, painful, unpolished chapters. Her philosophy: Your trauma, past, and pain aren’t shameful ; they’re building materials for your power. You don’t need to rush your becoming . Patience is a business strategy, not a weakness. You are allowed a “life board,” your personal board of directors: the money mentor, the soul mentor, the health mentor, the friend who tells you the truth gently but directly.

Entrepreneurship gets a lot less lonely when you stop trying to be your own everything. Alignment Over Hustle (Always) While the internet screams “go faster” , Denielle whispers: Slow down so you can actually see how far you’ve come. She creates her days around alignment: movement, rest, service, client work, and space to simply be . Because a business built from burnout energy will always feel like a cage. A business built from alignment? That feels like a sanctuary for you and the women you serve. Your Invitation: Turn Your Pain Into Power If your soul’s been nudging you to heal, to slow down, to start that business, or to finally admit you’re meant for more, consider this your sign. Denielle’s work is for the woman who’s ready to treat her life like something sacred, not just “productive.”

Dasha Kosse

The Quiet Revolutions Dasha Kosse Is Leading Some women run workshops. Dasha Kosse sparks revolutions in boardrooms. She’s the founder of DaKo Coaching , an ICF PCC coach, global learning & development strategist, AI-enhanced learning pioneer, and the woman companies call when their “people problem” is actually a leadership problem. She's led 500+ sessions across 20+ countries and 40+

From War, Relocation & Corporate to “It’s My Turn Now” Dasha's story didn't start on a stage. It started in Ukraine, moved through six countries (Greece, France, UAE, Czech Republic, Bulgaria), and now flows from her new home in Vienna, Austria. When war hit Ukraine, she begged her mother to leave and come stay safe with her. Her mom eventually relocated to Bulgaria, and Dasha made a bold decision: Leave her secure global L&D role in Prague. Move to Bulgaria, where she knew nothing and had zero business network. Start her own consultancy from scratch there. She has since relocated to Vienna, Austria, continuing to grow her business across borders. No built-in office. No neatly prepared pipeline. Just her experience, her vision, and a whole lot of courage. Inaction Is the Real Villain Dasha is crystal clear on one thing: “Inaction is the worst thing we can do to ourselves.” She doesn’t sugarcoat entrepreneurship. It’s not cute, it’s not linear, and it’s nationalities, turning corporate chaos into clear strategy, stronger leaders, and teams that actually like showing up on Monday. From managing global L&D operations across EMEA and APAC to pioneering AI-enhanced leadership training, she's built her reputation on results, not buzzwords.

definitely not “freedom in 30 days.” Her approach is ruthlessly practical:

FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS MAGAZINE

16

Start with the vision: Where do you want to be in one year? Reverse engineer it: What offers, clients, and numbers get you there? Make it math, not drama: How many people do you need to know? How many networking conversations do you need to be having weekly? Because for her, networking is the secret sauce. Not the spammy “spray and pray” DM kind. Real conversations. Real humans. Real opportunities that are born from connection.

Leadership, Soft Skills & The Future (Yes, AI Is Invited) Dasha’s obsession is simple: Better leaders = better companies = better lives. She believes: Soft skills are the new currency of success. Learning & development isn't “nice to have,” it’s the backbone of retention, culture, and performance. AI isn't here to replace leaders, but to elevate the ones willing to adapt. She's developed her signature 'Future Ready Leadership with AI' course, proving technology amplifies human wisdom rather than replacing it. She now works as a fractional L&D partner for startups and mid-size companies (100- 500 employees). When the Founder Journey Feels Lonely Dasha also tells the truth about the parts we post less on Instagram: Relocation. Starting over. Virtual friends instead of local coffee dates. Being CEO, assistant, strategist, and accountant all in one body. Her antidote? Self-trust. Long solo walks. Reverse- engineered plans. And the constant reminder: "You've got this. You'll learn it on the go.”

If you’re a CEO, founder, or rising leader who knows your people deserve better than boring training and burnt-out managers, Dasha is your girl. WANT DASHA IN YOUR CORNER?

Sian L’Angellier Why Mindset Beats Strategy (Every. Single. Time.) Some women dabble in mindset. Sian L’Angellier rewires it. When I say this woman doesn’t do “playing small,” I mean it. She’s the mind-rewiring, confidence-igniting, unapologetic living coach who helps ambitious women stop asking “Can I?” and

start saying “Watch me.” And yes, the energy is just as spicy as it sounds.

FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS MAGAZINE Dear 18-Year-Old You: Stop Comparing. Start Owning. If Sian could sit down with her 18-year-old self, she’d hand her a peppermint tea and gently remind her to stop comparing her behind-the-scenes to someone else’s highlight reel. She’d tell her that she has no idea what others have sacrificed, survived, or struggled with, and that the only comparison that ever matters is who she was yesterday versus who she is becoming. Cue the certifications in NLP, mindset work, subconscious healing, breathwork… plus one brave little Instagram account. And just like that, she finally built a coaching business that felt like home. From Toxic Jobs to Fully Aligned Sian didn’t magically wake up with a ring light and a coaching business. She spent years feeling “different,” never fitting into the nine-to-five box. She worked with children and young people with special educational needs, earned her childhood degree through distance learning, and still kept hitting the same wall: “There was never a job where I thought, Yes… this is it forever.” By 2023, a toxic job pushed her into burnout and anxiety—a full-body “no more” from her nervous system. Then, on a random car ride, her husband asked the question that changed everything: “Have you ever thought about coaching?” She had. She just hadn't given herself permission.

20

It’s the same truth she teaches her clients: your gift is not accidental, your voice and your story were never a mistake, and your quirky little mix of skills is actually your million-dollar asset. So stop whispering—this world needs your full volume. Motherhood, Ambition & Those Famous “Pockets of Time” Sian isn’t building her business in a vacuum. She’s doing it with a nine-month-old on her hip, a husband cheering her on, and a calendar that laughs at the idea of “balance.” Her days are nap-time work bursts, late nights, and serving clients even on low-sleep mornings. Her core philosophy? Use your pockets of time—not the imaginary five-hour block, but the 17 minutes you actually have. And when things get hard, she comes back to her why: her son, watching her on stage one day, thinking, That’s my mum.

Manifestation Needs Mascara AND Movement Sian is all for manifestation, visualization, and big juicy vision boards—but she’s just as clear that you can’t journal your way into a business without taking action. Vision without action is fantasy. Freedom without effort is a slogan. Strategy without mindset won’t last. She teaches women to reprogram their beliefs, regulate their nervous system with breathwork, and then actually move—post the content, sell the offer, send the email, say the scary thing. Kay Suthar

How Kay Suthar Turned “No” Into a Global Podcast Power Move Some women start a business. Kay Suthar started a movement with a mic, a mission, and zero interest in playing small.

FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS MAGAZINE The pattern? She kept making everyone else rich and visible while sliding herself into the shadows. Then the world went virtual. In true Kay fashion, she didn’t just “try” podcasting. She landed 100 interviews in 60 days, turned rejection into rocket fuel, and became the #1 closer in the room, this time for her own empire. Rejection, But Make It Profitable Kay has heard “no” in more accents and atmospheres than most of us will in a lifetime, job interviews, sales floors, and early podcast pitching. Instead of letting it shrink her, she treated every no like data: What did I say? What did they say? What would I change next time? She’s the CEO and founder of Make Your Mark Podcast Agency , a high-energy host, a former MMA fighter, an ex-London police officer, and the woman brands call when they’re finally ready to stop whispering and start making serious money with their message. Yes, she’s 4'11. No, you will not forget her. From MMA Rings to Microphones Before podcasting, Kay’s career looked like a highlight reel of “plot twist” moments: MMA fighter, happily beating people up the legal way Police officer in London for six and a half years Event manager, back-of-room high-ticket closer, corporate roles Sign language interpreter for deaf children

22

That’s how she went from awkward ex-cop to interrogating people at events (her words, not mine) to the woman closing $100K–$150K per event and teaching others how to turn conversations into cash. Her rule: You don’t have a business without sales. You have a hobby.

Visibility Is Not Optional Kay is ruthless (in the best way) about one thing: If you want to be paid, you cannot be invisible. She’s not here for “perfect presenter energy.” She’s here for real: Hoodie on for Zoom calls Post-gym, sweaty-face podcasting Honest stories about caregiving for her mum in the mornings and building a company in the afternoons She’ll tell you straight: authenticity builds empires, perfection kills momentum. She also swears by OPP – Other People’s People . Your next client, collaborator, or stage? Almost always comes through someone else’s network. Ask, collaborate, and get in the rooms (and pods) where your name can be said when you’re not there. Life, Business & Saying No (Loudly) Kay doesn’t “balance” life and business; she blends them. Caring for her mum with rheumatoid arthritis, running an agency, hosting her show, and planning The Edge live event in London, she protects her energy with one powerful tool: The word “no.”

No to misaligned collabs. No to sketchy reputations. No to anything that dims her brand or drains her brilliance.

Ready to stop hiding and start hitting “record” on the empire you actually want? Plug into Kay’s world! MAKE YOUR MARK WITH KAY

Tammy Durden

Homeschooling three kids. Navigating life with multiple sclerosis. Building an empire from the corner of her living room. That’s not hustle, that’s holy strategy wrapped in spreadsheets, surrender, and a whole lot of grit. From Burnout to Freedom: When Your Breaking Point Becomes Your Breakthrough

She’s the award-winning business coach behind Fearless Business Boss , the woman other women watch and whisper, “No, seriously… she must have superpowers.” But here’s the truth: She doesn’t magically “do it all.” She has engineered a way to do it, built a framework, a philosophy, a fearless blueprint that turns limitations into leverage and everyday women into unstoppable forces. The “Accidental” Business That Became a Blueprint Tammy didn’t set out to be a CEO. She just needed to work from home after her MS diagnosis made traditional work unsustainable. One online scam later (we’ve all been there), she ditched the shady internet promises and found a local insurance agent who needed help with admin, lead gen, and later bookkeeping. Somewhere between invoices and inboxes, she realized: “I actually have a business.” That business became a VA agency, intentionally built to help other disabled people work from home too. As demand grew and her vision expanded, she transitioned the agency into a digital marketing agency, hiring subcontractors, assigning client work, and creating something far bigger than a solo hustle. That’s where the agency model came in and where the freedom started to multiply. Delegation: The Thing We Teach but Don’t Do Tammy fully admits she went through every version of “I’ll just do it myself” leadership. She laughs about her early “helicopter manager” era, hovering, double-checking, having subcontractors send work back so she could present it to the client.

The real shift? Letting her team talk directly to clients. Monthly strategy calls kept Tammy as the face of the company, but her team handled the day-to- day. That’s when the agency stopped being “extra help” and started being real liberation. The 10K Month Myth and the Power of Pockets of Time

Tammy is beautifully blunt about the online “make 10K months in 10 minutes” fantasy. You don’t build authority, trust, and a real brand overnight. Back in the day, women hustled from payphones during their kids’ practices. Today it’s voice notes in the car, emails in the parking lot, and DMs between dance drop-off and dinner. Her message? Business is a journey, not a sprint. Use your pockets of time. Build slowly and solidly. And stop comparing your Day 1 to someone else’s Year 10.

Beautiful Chaos, Bed Days, and Business That Still Grows

With MS, lupus, and family life, Tammy let go of “perfect balance” and embraced “beautiful imbalance.” Her priorities are simple: God first, her husband, her kids, then her calling—and if her kids walk in and she’s not on a call, they always get her first. Some days she works from bed, pajamas on and glasses slipping, still transforming women’s businesses. Rest isn’t weakness for her; it’s what keeps her going. Her real superpower? Perseverance. When things get messy or discouraging, she doesn’t tap out—she leans into God, her people, and her purpose. She just keeps going.

If you’re the maxed-out solopreneur wearing all the hats and quietly Googling “how to clone myself,” Tammy is your next wise move. STEP INTO TAMMY’S FEARLESS WORLD

Gail Fraser

Networking Without the Ick: How Gail Fraser Turns Chaos Into Connection If clarity, confidence, and community had a love child, her name would be Gail Fraser. This Minnesota-based systems queen built a business out of something most of us avoid like a picked-over sale rack at 5 p.m.—messy workflows. And somehow, she made them cute, cozy, and wildly empowering. As the founder of Worksimple , Gail helps creatives,

solopreneurs, and small teams ditch the soul-shriveling spreadsheets and step back into their zone of genius. She’s the woman who turns “Ugh, my business is chaos” into “Ohhh… that was easy. Magic.” The Second-Grade Meltdown That Became Her Superpower Gail still remembers second grade, staring at the “What do you want to be when you grow up?” assignment… and sobbing. Her classmates had crisp answers; she had existential dread. After eight career changes, a few dropped majors, and countless “What am I doing?” moments, she finally spotted the thread: she loved making life easier for people. What once felt like confusion became her compass. With an ADHD brain that refused tedious admin work, Gail built systems to survive—then turned those systems into a business. Honestly? An iconic entrepreneur move. Networking… But Make It Non-Icky Like many women, Gail once believed networking was just code for awkwardly using people for opportunities. Now? She's a full-blown evangelist for the power of connection.

FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS MAGAZINE

28

Why? Because it changed everything. She found women’s entrepreneur groups, wedding-industry creatives, and online communities who just like her wanted collaboration, not comparison. And guess what? Ninety percent of her clients now come from word-of-mouth. Not ads. Not funnels. Humans. Niching Down Without Losing Your Sparkle When Gail realized she adored creative women and service-based solopreneurs (especially those in the wedding industry), everything clicked. They wanted systems… but not from a “tech bro.” They wanted someone who got them. Someone who understands that, pretty systems work better, ClickUp is therapy, creativity thrives when chaos settles. Gail became that person, and her business took off.

If She Could Whisper Something to Her 18-Year-Old Self… It would be this: “Perfection is the enemy of progress.” Start messy. Start scared. Start now. She also wishes she’d known networking wasn’t a chore, it’s an invitation to meet cool humans doing cool things. (We second that.) A Little Chaos, A Lot of Heart Gail juggles her 9–5, her business, her wedding planning, her rescue pup, her knitting hobby (yes, she’s a micro knitfluencer), and her thriving network with surprising ease. Her secret? Community . When she’s drained, she doesn’t isolate. She reconnects. Because connection refills her cup every time.

Follow her online and grab her free ClickUp Kickstart Template, the perfect beginner portal for banishing chaos and building your business with flow. SAY HI TO GAIL (YOUR FUTURE SELF WILL THANK YOU.)

LET’S TALK

by Angel France How Do I Stay Rooted in Who I Am While Rising Into the Woman I’m Meant to Become? There’s something about December that makes every female entrepreneur pause mid- peppermint latte and whisper to herself, “Okay… what am I really doing with my life?” It’s the season of sparkly lights and soul-level questions — the perfect time to ask how to stay grounded in your truth while expanding into your next era. Because let’s be honest: rising is exciting, but staying rooted? That’s the real art. Reflection Every year wraps with the same quiet invitation: “Am I building the right life… or just building?” It hits different in December. This is when you take inventory not of your tasks, but of your truth. What still fits? What feels forced? What choices came from alignment — and which came from obligation? Reflection isn’t about judging your year. It’s about understanding the woman who lived it. Reinvention The 2025 → 2026 shift is trending with one major theme: identity. Women don’t just want success anymore; they want success that feels like them. Grounded. Intentional. Authentic. Reinvention isn’t about becoming someone new, babe. It’s becoming the version of you your next level requires — quieter confidence, clearer boundaries, deeper alignment, and ambition

that doesn’t apologize for existing. Rising Without Losing Yourself Here’s the truth: we’re done with hustle culture’s nonsense.

Female entrepreneurs want businesses that grow, yes — but not at the cost of their joy, softness, or sanity. Staying rooted means letting purpose guide your moves. Rising means allowing yourself to expand without abandoning your values. The magic happens when you do both. So as this year closes, ask yourself:

“What stays, what shifts, and what rises with me?” That’s your rooted power — and your next becoming.
