“THE MOM FACTOR” Margo Peyton has been a travel professional and ocean advocate since 1986, she has curated extraor- dinary adventures both above and below the water. Embracing moth- erhood in 1994, Margo envisioned sharing her passion with her chil- dren, Robbie and Jennifer, and con- necting them to families worldwide through shared experiential family dive vacations.
THE DILEMMA Margo’s vision required family- friendly dive resorts and qualified kid-friendly instructors and dive operators, which were not readily available.. THE CREATION Margo took the initiative, crafting personalized itineraries and PADI training programs with each Kids Sea Camp location. Collaborating with select resort partners, she estab-
lished an industry-leading standard for child safety and dive instruction. Her ongoing commitment includes fostering a global network of family- friendly dive resorts that uphold her values and safety standards. Margo tirelessly educates parents, instruc- tors, and the dive community on best practices when teaching and diving with kids, emphasizing the same unwavering moral compass that guided her as a mother.
