Kingsburg Vikings Fall Sports Playoffs Recap 2025-2026

Sadly, The girls were eliminated from the playoffs, losing 3-0 to Bullard, and finish 14-22 for their season. Varsity Girls & Boys Water Polo The Varsity Boys Water Polo closed their miraculous regular season 17-9 record after a 15-6 loss to the Reedley Pirates on Thursday October 30th at Reedley High School. Despite the loss to Reedley, they will still go into the playoffs, and will travel on the road to go against the Porterville Panthers for their first round of the playoffs. Sadly, the Boys struggled to get the win on the road, and are now eliminated, with their future hopes of going farther in the playoffs coming to an end. Despite the elimination in the playoffs, they still finished 3rd in their tri county conference, with a 6-2 league record, and ended their season 17-10. The Varsity Girls Water Polo ended their season 14-12, with high scoring wins against teams like Mission Oak and Golden West in their first tournament.This leads to the girls entering the playoffs and will face off against The Bullard Knights. The girls did put points on the board, but lost 15-7, and are now out of the playoffs. They fin- ish their season with 14 wins and 13 losses. They will now have a chance next year to improve and stay consistent in order to improve their season, but with Seniors leaving, or any injuries that hap- pen, it could really affect the team a little bit.

Unforunately with the Vikings playing against the Tribe, it ended with a loss, with their hopes coming to an end. Despite all of this in the second round, they still fought hard all the way to the end. With the Vikings’ season closing, they finished their season 8-4, with a 3-1 league record. The Kingsburg Vikings Varsity Football finished their regular season with their miraculous win against their biggest rival, the Selma Bears, 51-0 At Staley Stadium in Selma, California. With this win, they clinch the #9 seed in the Division 2 playoffs and will go and rematch the #8 ranked Dinuba Emperors, who they lost to back in week 3 of September at Home. Gameday now arrives at Dinuba High School, as kickoff begins for these teams. It was a pretty slow start for both teams, mainly the first quarter. The second quarter made things interest- ing. Vikings Senior Quarterback Kade Holt threw a four yard touchdown Pass to Junior Wide Re- ceiver Cooper Holt to put six on the board. Shortly after, Dinuba responds with a touchdown and a PAT to make it 6-7 on the board. Vikings Defen- sive Back Nico Davalos delivered a 75-yard kick return for a touchdown just two minutes after the emperors scored. To finish it off before the half, Viking’s Senior Receiver Levi Wilson rushed for a two point conversion to make it 14-7 before half- time. After halftime, Dinuba kicks off for the second half. Kade Holt threw his third touchdown pass to Levi Wilson. For 12 yards, with Junior Kicker Daniel Rojas making the extra point to make it 21-7. Finally, Senior running back Drew Lunde scored a touchdown for a rush of three yards, plus an extra point to end off the game 28-7, eliminating the Emperors for their first round exit,
The Vikings Varsity Girls Volleyball fin ished their regular season with a 13-21 record, and will head to the playoffs to take on Porterville Panthers at Porterville High School. The Girls Volleyball team went into this game to upset the 25-9 record Panthers 3-1 for the first game in the playoffs and submit them
