Ivan Finlay Leadership Award Funded by APEGA’s past-presidents, this award recognizes engineering and geoscience undergraduate and graduate students who foster equity, diversity, and inclusivity on campus or in their community. In 2023, six recipients received awards of $1,250 each . Ivan Finlay, P.Eng., FEC, was an electrical engineer who served as Alberta’s chief electrical inspector and as APEGA’s first full-time registrar from 1959 to 1978.
