BURLINGTON, NJ — Dr. James Fazzone, Mayor of The City of Burlington, and members of the City of Burlington Common Coun- cil, joined representatives from Ingerman on May 27 to break ground on Apart- ments at the Mill. Th e g r o un d b r e a k i n g marks the start of construc- tion on a project that will play an integral role in the transformation of an under- used industrial site into a vibrant new neighborhood. Featuring 65 one-, two- and three-bedroom apart- ments on 2.4-acres, Apart- ments at the Mill will em- brace the history of the site by rehabilitating an existing mill structure into a community center with 11 residential units above, in- corporating a full-time leas- LQJRIÀFHFRPPXQLW\URRP and meeting space. Five new residential buildings will be added to the site, with each surrounded by ample green space. Ingerman, a developer, manager and builder of multi-family apartment communities, is developing ÀWQHVVFHQWHUDQGURRIWRSSRRO “The residential sector con- tinues to grow throughout Philadelphia, and Skanska has embraced the market’s current uptick,” said Ed Sz- warc , executive vice president of Skanska USA’s Greater Philadelphia office. “We are well-positioned to take onmore residential projects like the Sterling Apartment Complex and provide residents with the most comfortable and up- to-date living spaces possible.” The project is currently un- derway and is scheduled for completion in January 2015. Skanska is currently con- structing the Nicholas and Athena Karabots Pavilion at The Franklin Institute. The company is also expanding the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and Wilmington Hospital, both in Wilmington, DE. „
