MUZEJ / MUSEUM Sećate li se devedesetih? Remember the nineties?
T he permanent exhibition, entitled The Labyrinth of the ‘90s, aims to launch the process of looking back on the decade that changed the course of people’s lives in these lands (but al- so globally). The opening took place on 3 rd June at 3 Kneza Miloša Street, in the house of the Marković family, which is this year commemorating the 150 th an- niversary of its construction, making it one of the few Belgrade houses to have reached such a ripe old age. The exhibition has been created in the form of a maze and includes themed rooms that address different aspects of the last decade of the 20 th century. As we enter the labyrinth, we are shown video clips of some of the most famous events that marked the period from 1989 to the collapse of the then Yugoslavia in 1992. The collage starts with the open- ing credits of popular Yugoslav TV series A Better Life, followed by folk star Lepa Brena singing the song Jugoslovenka, and Italian singer Toto Cutugno win- ing the Eurovision Song Contest in Za- greb in 1990 with a song about the uni- fying of Europe... This exhibition marks an attempt to present the 1990s in a different, layered and complex light – both for those who endured the decade and those who are just getting to know it. It creates a space for new questions, regional understand- ing and a different public conversation about heritage.
S talna postavka izložbe “Lavirint devedesetih” za cilj ima pokreta- nje procesa sagledavanja decenije koja je promenila tokove života ljudi na ovim prostorima (ali i globalno). Otva- ranje je planirano za 3. jun u Kneza Mi- loša 3, u kući porodice Marković, koja ove godine obeležava 150 godina od iz- gradnje, što je svrstava u mali broj ku- ća u Beogradu koje se mogu podičiti to- likom starošću. Izložba je napravljena u obliku lavirinta, sa tematskim sobama koje govore o de- vedesetim godinama. Na ulazu gledamo video-isečke nekih od najpoznatijih do-
gađaja koji su obeležili period od 1989. do krajnjeg raspada Jugoslavije 1992. Kolaž počinje uvodnom špicom popu- larne serije „Bolji život“, zvezda folka Lepa Brena peva pesmu „Jugosloven- ka“, a Toto Kutunjo pobeđuje u Zagre- bu 1990. na „Evroviziji“ sa pesmom o ujedinjenju Evrope... Ova izložba je pokušaj da devedesete bu- du prikazane drugačije, slojevito i kom- pleksno – i za one koji su devedesete pro- živeli i za one koji ih tek upoznaju. Ona otvara prostor za nova pitanja, za regio- nalno razumevanje i drugačiji javni raz- govor o nasleđu.

U glavnoj ulozi je Ana de Armas, pored Gabrijela Birna, Anđelike Hjuston i Kijanua Rivsa. Ana kao Eva Makaro po- činje da se obučava u atentatorskim tra- dicijama ruskih Roma ne bi li osvetila smrt oca, a film stiže u bioskope 6. juna.
B allerina is an American action thriller, the fifth film in the John Wick franchise and serves as a spin-off that’s set between the events of Chapters 3 and 4. Ballerina star Ana de Armas, alongside Gabriel Byrne, An- jelica Huston and Keanu Reeves. Ana’s char- acter of Eve Macarro begins training in the assassination traditions of the Russian Ro- ma in order to avenge the death of her father. The film hits cinemas worldwide on 6 th June.
