ALTIMORE, MD — St. John Properties, Inc. has unveiled plans to initiate construction on ten multi-story and single-story office, R&D/flex and retail buildings by mid-September at six business communities in Maryland, ranging from Reis- terstown in Baltimore County to Annapolis in Anne Arundel County. Totaling more than 250,000 s/f of space, the new buildings are being constructed on a speculative basis with no pre-leasing commitments. • Near Baltimore-Washing- ton International Airport, St. John Properties is set to break ground on a 24,190 s/f office building at Rte. 100 Technol- ogy Center, located near the intersection of MD Rte. 100 andMaryland Rte. 295, as well as a 13,325 s/f retail building at BWI Technology Park II on West Nursery Rd. at MD Rte. 295. • In addition, three new single-story and two-story office buildings, cumulatively totaling nearly 100,000 s/f of space, will soon begin to rise at Annapolis Commons, a new business community, situated on Harry S Truman Parkway near Riva Rd., adjacent to Anne Arundel County govern- ment offices. “The entire St. John Proper- ties portfolio is experiencing strong and sustained leasing activity, and the addition of this new speculative product is timed to continue this mo- mentum and stay ahead of the accelerated demand that we envision,” Wit added. ■ the property will consist of 378 luxury residential units, 25,517 square feet of ground- floor retail space and a 309- space subterranean parking garage. Positioned near Westminster Pike and I-795, Reisterstown Crossing will contain nearly 100,000 s/f of office and retail space upon completion and will also serve the Carroll County marketplace. • Plans are also underway for a 8,125 s/f retail building at 4001 North Point Blvd. in the Dundalk section of Baltimore County. St. John Properties recently sold an eleven-acre parcel of land at this former North Point Drive-In site to K. Hovnanian Homes for the development of a 108-unit up- scale town home community.

HFF worked on behalf of Fisher Brothers to place the 20-year, construction-to- permanent loanwith an insti- tutional investor represented by Cornerstone Real Es- tate Advisers, LLC , one of the world’s largest real estate investment managers. The property is located at 701 2nd Street, Northwest at the convergence of Wash- ington, D.C.’s Capitol Hill, NoMa and H Street Corridor neighborhoods. Due for com- pletion in December 2014, John Properties announced that it has begun construction on five buildings totaling over 320,000 s/f at business parks at Maple Lawn, The GATE at APG, Ashburn Technology Park and BWI Technology Park II.
