LORHAMPARK, NJ — The Rockefeller Group announced that it will develop a four-story, 100,000 s/f medical office building for Summit Medical Group at The Green at Florham Park, a 268 acre master-planned develop- ment located in Florham Park, N.J. Summit Medical Group signed a 15-year lease for the entire building, which will be located at 140 Park Ave. The building is planned for general medical office space, ambulatory care and radiology services as well as an ambula- tory surgery center on a sepa- F
rate floor. Construction of the facility will begin in September 2013 with completion and occu- pancy expected by early 2015. The building will be the latest development project to break ground at The Green at Florham Park, which has become one of North America’s most distinctive new develop- ment projects. In 2012 BASF Corporation’s North American Headquarters, located at 100 Park Ave., was designated LEED Platinum by the U.S. Green Building Council , becoming one of only five build- ings in North America to earn
LEED Platinum certification for core and shell as well as commercial interiors. “The Rockefeller Group is pleased to add Summit Medi- cal Group to the growing list of tenants who have chosen to locate at The Green at Florham Park, including BASF Corpora- tion and The New York Jets,” said Les Smith Jr. , executive vice president of development for The Rockefeller Group. “Summit Medical Group has a reputation as one of northern New Jersey’s most elite medi- cal practices and its network includes some of the area’s best physicians. The Rockefeller Group was represented in-house by Clark Machemer , vice president, and Johanna Chervak , as- sociate director. n Daibes Enterprises exec. to start land dev. consultancy EdgewaterNJ— Jeffrey Mathieu , VP of Daibes Enter- prises is leaving to start a real estate development consulting firm. Mathieu played a key role for the past 15 years in Daibes’ major development of the Ber- gen County Gold Coast. Familiar with all phases of land development, Mathieu directed and managed the approval process for many projects. As a key member of the team for major projects Mathieu was involved in clean- up and redevelopment of the contaminated Alcoa property, and the Mariner’s projects, consisting of Mariner’s Cove, Mariner ’s Tower, Mariner ’s Landing, and the Mariner’s Bank headquarters, all on the Edgewater waterfront. n
