Kappa Klean-Up for September 2024 The Decatur Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. came together early in the morning to take on a significant service project on their chosen stretch of Waldrop Road, demonstrating outstanding examples of community leadership. Fraternity members picked up rubbish and beautified the neighborhood as part of an attempt to keep DeKalb County clean, as part of their dedication to service. Long committed to upholding Waldrop Road, the Decatur Alumni Nupes frequently plan cleanups as a way of giving back to the neighborhood. Their work is simply the most recent in a line of initiatives to promote a greener, cleaner world for everybody. One fraternity member remarked, "We're proud to play a part in keeping DeKalb County beautiful," noting that the cleanup initiatives benefit the environment and foster stronger links with the neighborhood. "It’s about setting an example and making a positive
impact where we live." The action this morning is a part of an expanding community movement that aims to maintain the area's cleanliness. The Decatur Alumni Kappas have demonstrated their dedication to this service by regularly taking part in cleanup initiatives. The brothers of the chapter put in a lot of effort to make Waldrop Road a tidy and friendly place for locals and guests alike. They did this by gathering garbage bags and being committed. Locals applauded their initiative, recognizing the fraternity's commitment to maintaining DeKalb County in excellent condition.
