Day 5: Arenal This morning, continue by coach through the San Carlos region, the heart of Costa Rica, thriving with agricultural and livestock smallholdings, to Arenal and its volcano. Day 6: Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge Watch as we pass local communities on the way to the small village of Los Chiles; gateway to the Rio Frio and the Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge. Your boat then takes you on a floating safari through tropical rainforest and pastures. Day 7: Monteverde This morning, leave for Monteverde, located along the continental divide, 5,000 feet above sea level. Day 8: Monteverde Today is free to relax and explore at your own leisure. Day 9: Cloud Forest - San Jose This morning, venture through the Cloud Forest private reserve, seeing the flora and fauna. It’s one of the few places you may get a glimpse of a strikingly coloured quetzal. Then, leaving the cloud forest behind, travel back to San Jose via the picturesque town of Sarchi. Days 10-11: San Jose - UK Transfer to the airport for your return overnight flight home to the UK. Upon arrival, your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.

Day 1: UK - San Jose Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your flight. On arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore. Day 2: San Jose This morning, embark on a guided tour of San Jose. You’ll see the Bellavista fortress, a true reminder of Costa Rica’s past, but today is the home of the National Museum. Then, visit the National Theatre, modelled on the Paris Opera House. Day 3: Tortuguero Today, drive through Braulio Carrillo National Park to Tortuguero, passing volcanic mountains, the tropical rainforest and banana plantations. Take to the waters of the Tortuguero Canals, passing rare and unusual flora and fauna before finally arriving at your eco-lodge hotel. Later, explore Tortuguero village and visit the Turtle Preservation Centre. Day 4: Tortuguero National Park Explore the breathtaking paradise of the Tortuguero Canals today. Its unique system of natural and man-made waterways is a haven for a variety of birds, monkeys, sloths, toucans, and an array of orchids.
