15 day stay and river cruise Breathtaking Iguassu Falls, Rio & Heart of the Amazon
monkeys and a morning serenade of toucans. After breakfast, go for a walk in the forest, get a good start on understanding Amazon ecology. Day 10: Rio Negro This morning there will be an early exploration of the waking forest. Keep your eyes open for sloths. Return for breakfast followed by either a walk in the forest or an excursion in the launches. Day 11: Rio Negro After your morning excursions, the ship will navigate along the heavily forested shore, scouting for wildlife. Day 12: Rio Negro Today enjoy the voyage to the west side of the Rio Negro. Weather and water depth permitting, explore areas rarely visited by anyone else. Tonight, the ship will go downstream and and will enter an east bank affluent of the Rio Negro and explore on deep into the rainforest on this small river. Day 13: Rio Negro Begin the day with a dawn excursion hunting for wakening wildlife followed by a full Brazilian breakfast. At sunset the M/Y Tucano will once again turn her bows upstream on the Rio Negro and journey to your overnight anchorage north of the City of Manaus. Days 14-15: Manaus - UK Today your cruise comes to an end. Disembark and be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay. The next morning, transfer to the airport for your flight home to the UK.
