Do you believe art should have a social or political role? If so how do you see your own work reect- ing the crazy times? Art is expression, so if an artist want to use it to express their po- litical beliefs, they should have that freedom. I don’t believe my has any kind of political identity What advice would you give to aspiring artists? It’s incredibly hard to make a living creating art, don’t be discouraged.

Are there any upcoming projects or exhibi- tions you’re excited about? I am actually opening a gallery wall at a vin- tage and exotic car club in the Nashville area called 111 Motorcars. What has been the most rewarding moment of your journey so far? I was invited to the Music City Grand Prix to do a live painting that was auctioned o for a children’s hospital. How do you think social media and technology have inuenced the art world? So much! We used to have to travel the world walking through museums to see great art, now it’s at your ngertips in an instant!

Even if you don’t make a dime, create as long as you feel driven to. It’s good for the soul. If you could collaborate with any artist lo- cally or nationally who would it be–and how do their vibes align or contrast with yours? I would love to work with Aaron Draplin. I feel like our styles are compatible and we could create some really cool stu! What do you hope people take away from your work? I just hope it is inspiring in any way.
