In 2019, he was accepted into Howard University , and a year later, co-founded the company Orbtronics with another former SPISE graduate and St. Lucian, Keeghan Patrick . The company offers STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) educational programmes, basic digital skills training, and web
development services. Roserie was also able to secure internships at the US-based, multinational technology companies, Cummins Inc. and Microsoft Corporation where he focused on product design. “It has been a wonderful experience. I think Microsoft has given me the opportunity to grow as an engineer, and it has also given me the flexibility that I need to pursue my other passions. So, I was still allowed to travel to [Kigali in] Rwanda where I attended the Generation Connect Global Youth Summit [in June 2022] that focused on digital development, digital transformation, and digital policy. “That was not a one-off for me because from the time I joined
Generation Connect, I’ve always been highly engaged in advocating for the youth because the youth are the future; and if I can put myself in a position where I can make it easier for whoever comes after me, given the barriers we face in the Caribbean, … [I will].” He said his involvement in the international youth group has not only allowed him to amplify his voice on issues that affect the youth but it has also allowed him to connect with important decision makers. Roserie told his story to the 2022 SPISE cohort during an online event held on 24 July 2022 and commended the two SPISE executives on having a vision for the region that is genius and years ahead of their time.
