Kimber Bonner, MSN, RN, serves as vice president of patient care services at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, Nebraska. Known for her approachable leadership and genuine concern for the well-being of her team, she makes a point to connect personally with employees, mentor future leaders, and foster a culture where staff and patients alike feel valued. Under Kimber’s guidance, Good Samaritan earned the prestigious Pathway to Excellence® designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in July 2025, along with CMS and Leapfrog recognition for quality and safety. Deeply rooted in the Kearney community, Kimber lends her time and expertise to organizations including the HelpCare Clinic Board, Kearney Legion Baseball Board, Development Council for Buffalo County, Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce, and Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She also serves as District 3 President/Chair for the Nebraska Organization for Nursing Leadership, contributes to the Nebraska Organ Donor Advisory Board, and participates in initiatives such as the new Buffalo County Law Enforcement Center.

Kimber is passionate about education, working closely with nursing schools to provide meaningful clinical experiences that prepare students for successful careers in health care. Outside of her professional and community roles, she enjoys golfing, exercising, and spending time at the lake. Kimber and her husband, Bill, have been married for 27 years and are proud of their three grown children: Koeby, a physical therapist in Grand Island; Kaden, with BD Construction; and Kenzie, a nursing student at UNMC in Kearney.
Elizabeth “Liz” Weber is a Speech-Language Pathologist and the Director of GO Physical Therapy–Children’s Rehab Center in Kearney, Nebraska. Liz has been part of the GO Physical Therapy team for more than a decade, beginning her career at the Grand Island clinic before founding the Kearney location in 2017. What started as an 8×10 treatment room dedicated to speech therapy has grown under her leadership into a thriving 3,000-square-foot pediatric outpatient center serving more than 300 children with speech, occupational, and physical therapy. Liz and her team are passionate about helping children of all abilities, from birth through young adulthood, reach their fullest potential. They volunteer at events such as the Buddy Walk for Down syndrome, Kids and Dreams Foundation camps for children with autism, and the Rett Syndrome Walk. They celebrate milestones large and small—whether cheering patients on at Challenger baseball, Trailblazers basketball, or honoring special days for children with cerebral palsy and other rare diagnoses. A servant leader at heart, Liz leads by example, cultivating a culture of excellence, empathy, and joy. She mentors speech-language pathology students from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, guiding them toward professional skill and compassionate care. She also supports her staff’s growth, encouraging advanced training and offering steadfast encouragement during personal challenges. Parents often remark that the clinic feels like family, a reflection of Liz’s commitment to every child, caregiver, and colleague. Grounded by her strong faith, Liz balances her career with devotion to her husband, Josh, and their two young children. She strives to instill courage, compassion, integrity, and love—values that shape both her family life and her work with the children and families she serves. Her unwavering optimism and dedication motivate others to dream bigger, work harder, and believe that every achievement, no matter how small, is worth celebrating.
Kirsten Eggleston is a dedicated Medical Scheduler at Kearney Regional Medical Center (KRMC), where she has worked for five years and has served in her current role for the past two. A native of Kearney and a proud graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Kirsten brings both hometown insight and professional expertise to her work every day. Specializing in scheduling interventional radiology procedures, she has become an invaluable resource to her department—sharing knowledge, advocating for patients, and ensuring they receive timely care. She played a key role in guiding the scheduling team through KRMC’s transition to the EPIC electronic health record, demonstrating leadership and a calm, solution-focused approach. Her dedication to enhancing the patient journey is also reflected in her service on KRMC’s Patient Experience Committee. Known for consistently going above and beyond, Kirsten is quick to lend a hand to colleagues and thrives on problem- solving with efficiency and grace. Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys immersing herself in books, exploring the arts, spending time outdoors, and traveling with her family. She and her husband, Jason, stay busy raising their four children—Ariyah (12), Sage (10), Isaac (4), and Avagail (2)—and cheering them on in their many activities. With her blend of professional skill, compassion, and dedication, Kirsten continues to be an outstanding representative of KRMC and a trusted partner in helping patients access the care they need.
