Megan Axmann is the co-owner of Divas at Kearney Floral Co., a boutique floral and gift shop serving Kearney and the surrounding area since 2012. Alongside partners Stacy Schulte and Chelsie Bebensee, Megan has helped grow Divas into a vibrant, community-minded business known for creativity, quality, and warm customer service. A native of rural Nebraska, Megan grew up on a farm between Elm Creek and Overton and graduated from Overton Public School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Advertising, from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She now lives in Pleasanton with her husband, Jordan, and their three children, where they enjoy an active family life grounded in faith and service.

Megan Axmann Co-Owner Divas at Kearney Floral Co. Megan is deeply committed to supporting her community. She and Divas partner with organizations including the SAFE Center’s Purses for a Purpose, Go Red for Women, Make-a-Wish, GOLD, and Class Act, providing sponsorships and floral designs for events and fundraisers. She serves on the Pleasanton Old Settlers Board, volunteers with her church and CCD education classes, and participates in committees through Pleasanton Public School. Passionate about mentoring, Megan offers floral demonstrations for groups and non- profits, speaks to students at Head Start and Little Pups, and guides FFA teams with floriculture projects across central Nebraska. She also leads by example in the shop, supporting young employees with encouragement, wisdom, and professional guidance. Megan believes the greatest rewards come from investing time, energy, and genuine care into people and communities.

Allison Seiler is an attorney with Jacobsen Orr Law Firm, where she focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, agriculture, business formation, real estate, and water and natural resources law. She enjoys helping clients protect their families, businesses, and land, and is especially passionate about guiding farm and ranch families through estate and succession planning. Allison also contributes to the firm’s continued growth by mentoring new attorneys, staff members, and law clerks, and by helping coordinate its clerkship and internship programs. A graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law (J.D., with High Distinction, 2021), Allison earned multiple academic and writing awards during law school. She holds a B.A. in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Hastings College. She is also a proud graduate of Leadership Kearney, Class #32. Allison is active in the Kearney community. She currently serves as Treasurer of the Eastbrooke Homeowners’ Association and sits on the boards of Leadership Kearney and the Kearney Area Children’s Museum. She is also involved with the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network. Previously, she served on the board for Junior Achievement of Kearney. Outside of work, Allison enjoys watching college athletics—especially volleyball and basketball—as well as playing volleyball, golfing, gardening, and baking. She and her husband, Torry, live in Kearney with their son, Myles, and enjoy spending time outdoors and supporting local sports. Dedicated to sharing her knowledge, Allison frequently presents on estate and succession planning topics for organizations such as ESU 10, NPERS, and the Cattlemen’s Classic. Whether working with clients, presenting to groups, or mentoring colleagues, she is passionate about helping others understand the law and achieve their goals.

Samantha Merrill is an attorney at Jacobsen Orr Law Firm in Kearney. A native of South Dakota, Sam graduated in the top ten percent of her class from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law, where she was also recognized as the most outstanding student by faculty. Following her clerkship with the Chief Judge for the Federal District Court of South Dakota in 2023, Sam joined her husband in Kearney to begin her legal practice. Committed to nurturing the next generation of attorneys, Sam has volunteered with the Nebraska High School Mock Trial Association since 2020, judging competitions for local students, and has spoken at South Dakota Girls State about her experiences as a female attorney. She also mentors college and law school interns, guiding them through court and client meetings and helping them prepare for law school and their first legal roles. Additionally, Sam provides coaching and feedback for law students at the University of South Dakota and the University of Nebraska, focusing on written advocacy and trial preparation.

In her community, Sam serves on the S.A.F.E. Center Board of Directors, currently as President of the Executive Committee, helping survivors transition to new beginnings. She is also on the court-appointed counsel list in Buffalo County, providing representation for those unable to afford private counsel. Sam has previously coached the University of South Dakota’s Trial Team and continues to volunteer at competitions and practices. Recognized for her dedication to leadership, service, and excellence, Sam was inducted into the Marjorie Breeden Society. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, embroidery, restoring her 1963 Dodge Pickup with her father, and spending time with her husband, Coy, and their two adopted dogs, Cope and Iris.
