We regard Ravinia as one of Chicago’s great “jewels” and frequently entertain visitors from out of town, as well as a cadre of “regular” friends throughout each Ravinia season. We typically enjoy 25–30 performances over the course of the summer! We consider ourselves “professional picnickers”! We live in the southwest suburbs and travel about an hour to Ravinia. We love it so much and have many wonderful memories of the concerts and the time with our friends.
