THE ARCHITECT
Joe Adsett Architects is an award winning architectural practice specialising in luxury residential architecture.
The studio is led by Director Joe Adsett and subscribes to a design philosophy of Subtropical Modernism – namely architecture that responds in a contemporary and timeless manner to the unique circumstances and environment of each site. When designing the Jardin Residences, our vision was to create a series of houses that had an emphasis upon living areas connected to a garden. To this extent we introduced an open plan providing a seamless connection between the kitchen, living spaces, outdoor areas and pools. The sense of open, light filled space has been further emphasised through large stacking doors, high ceilings, and orientating the majority of living spaces to the North.
We designed the residences with an end user in mind and made practical considerations such as double garaged parking, ample storage and second living areas to meet the requirements of growing families and downsizers. The master suites are generously proportioned and complemented with enormous walk in robes and ensuites. The detailing of the project took on a timeless and classic architectural language. Expressive white painted timberwork floats gracefully above green garden walls of exposed white brickwork. Timber ceilings and floors provide warmth and richness to the neutral colour palette.

FORM Landscape Architects are a Brisbane based award winning practice recognised for nurturing communities through thoughtful and exceptional landscape design.
FORM sought creative and vibrant design solutions for Jardin Residences, designing innovative spaces that embrace the location and lifestyle of Hamilton. A series of formal layered planting, Trellis climbers, and brightly featured flowering trees are prominent throughout each home.
The planting palette has been specifically and thoughtfully chosen to ensure developed and suitable growth for the subtropical location.
