Hi fellow NADOA members,
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the start of the fall season. HADOA has an exciting calendar and a busy and exciting fall ahead, and I’m thrilled to share what’s on the calendar! First, our Fall Seminar was held on September 24, hosted by Lime Rock Resources. This is one of our biggest professional development events of the year. Guest speakers included Samantha Thompson, “Can I Get My Money Back? Hurdles and Solutions to Recouping Overpaid Revenue”; Eli Kiefaber, “Interpretation of Deeds and Reservations”; Pamela Wentz, “Addressing Unclaimed Property Compliance”; and Scott Petry, “Do Safe Harbors Make Great Sailors? Application of the Texas Division Order Statute”, as well as the lunch keynote by Joe Wolfers, “Navigating the Rollercoaster that is Oil & Gas Employment”. A very special thank you goes out to our sponsors, TRI ENERGY ASSET MANAGEMENT, INC. (TEAM) and Riverbend Energy Group, for their generous support in making this event possible. Looking ahead, don’t forget to mark your calendars for our upcoming luncheons in October and November, as well as our annual Holiday Event at Petroleum Club of Houston on December 10. The holiday gathering is always a highlight of the year, and we hope to see many of you there.
