It was a hot, busy summer in Oklahoma, but cooler weather is just around the corner!

It was a rewarding experience both professionally and personally, as the Institute provided ample opportunity for networking and relationship building within our field. PBADOA was proud to support two of our members with scholarships to attend this year’s event. Here’s what they had to say about their experiences: Shirley Smith “Boston was amazing! I enjoyed the classes, and the speakers were outstanding. The knowledge I gained at the Institute will help me develop my skills as an Analyst. The NADOA Institute is an excellent way to connect with others in our field.” Juanita Perez “My experience at the Institute was amazing. The classes were very informative, the speakers were awesome, and I’m so appreciative for the opportunity to attend—thank you so much, PBADOA, for the scholarship. Boston is a beautiful city, and I enjoyed everything we got to do. Thank you again.” As summer winds down, we’re looking forward to returning to our regular schedule. PBADOA’s monthly luncheons will resume soon, with the next event scheduled for September 24 at the Bush Convention Center . We were excited to welcome Shelley Klingler, who presented “New Mexico 101” . We’re grateful for another successful year of learning and community, and we look forward to continuing our shared mission of excellence in our field. SADOA hosted the monthly NADOA Webinar on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. There were about 30 in attendance. Eli Murray presented the topic: “Prior Period Adjustments”, and positive feedback was received.
The SADOA/TALTA fall seminar was held on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Topics presented were:

We also have a Webinar scheduled for Wednesday, October 15, 2025, and our Holiday Luncheon will be at the Tulsa Country Club on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. We hope you will take advantage of these opportunities! We wish to extend a huge thank you to everyone that was involved in the 2025 NADOA Institute in Boston, MA. The classes were informative and interesting, the food was great, the weather was perfect, and the social events were so much fun. I’m already looking forward to 2026!!
