Girl Scout Day at the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium Date : April 12 from 9:30am-4pm Age Level : D B J C S A Enjoy Girl Scout Day at the Zoo! Come explore the zoo and visit our Sobela Ocean Aquarium on this special Girl Scout themed day. This is open to families or troops! Girl Scouts in branded apparel will receive FREE admission and one parent/guardian accompanying them will receive a $3 discount off regular-priced general admission. Location : Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium (6800 Zoo Drive, Kansas City, MO 64132) Cost : Girl Scouts in Girl Scout branded apparel receive free admission. Girl Scouts Design Bootcamp Date : April 12 and April 19 from 9am-2:30pm Age Level : C S A Calling all girls interested in the design fields! Join us for a fantastic opportunity to work alongside females in the architecture, landscape architecture, and interior architecture fields for a couple of days to create a true-to-life imaginary structure at one of our camp properties. Get right in with drawing, graphic design, using laser measurers, learning about elevation and scale, finishes and lighting, all while creating an imaginary sustainable building. Girls must attend both sessions to earn their Design Bootcamp patch, included with registration!
