I wanted to test my riding skills at a new level by learning how to start a colt and teach basic tasks to a horse that is still figuring things out . More than anything , I wanted to improve my communication with a horse and learn how to be clear , patient , and effective in my cues . I also joined LOR to build confidence in myself as a rider and work through the nervousness that comes with new challenges .”
