Workshop fees are indicated on the green ribbons. These fees cover full access to professional learning sessions conducted by the RIMS AVID team, as well as all corresponding resources and materials. Additionally, full-day trainings include a continental breakfast and lunch.

Site Team Conference This two-day conference is designed for AVID Site Teams to enhance their school-wide initiatives. Teams will refine and prioritize their 2024/25 goals using the Coaching and Certification Instrument (CCI) across the four key domains: Instruction, Systems, Leadership, and Culture. College and Career Readiness ACT Workshop San Bernardino County educators are invited to a three-hour workshop designed to enhance K12 students' college and career planning. This ACT College and Career Readiness Workshop provides valuable resources and frameworks for leaders in counseling, administration, assessment, curriculum development, and education. Participants will learn about the latest trends in readiness, acquire tools for utilizing college readiness data, and explore how to validate academic skills through workforce credentials and badges for students not taking AP tests. Attendees will gain no-cost strategies to bolster career exploration programs and promote a college-minded culture, and are eligible to receive NBCC education credits. FREE!

California Student Aid Commission Workshop

This free workshop, conducted in partnership with the California Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (CASFAA), the California Community Colleges Student Financial Aid Administrators Association (CCCSFAAA), and the Educational Credit Management Corporation (ECMC), provides essential financial aid information and updates to high school counselors, AVID coordinators, advisors, student advocacy groups, outreach specialists, and community education partners. We will focus on the All In for FAFSA/CA Dream Act Completion Initiative for high school seniors, and discuss the upcoming changes to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) through the Better FAFSA Better Future campaign, along with updates to the California Dream Act Application (CADAA).

Future Ready College Applications Workshop FutureReady California is a chapter of the American College Application Campaign (ACAC). The American College Application Campaign (ACAC) is a national initiative designed to increase the number of first- generation college students and students from low-income families who pursue a postsecondary degree. The purpose is the assist high school seniors as they navigate the college application and admissions process and ensure each participating student submits at least one admissions application. FutureReady California aims to support all students with postsecondary options. This workshop will provide information about the FutureReady California campaign and share resources and tools to implement.
