AVID Elective Teachers New AVID Elective Teacher Orientation (NEATO) $200 This workshop series, tailored for new and second-year AVID Elective teachers, consists of two full- day in-person trainings complemented by three virtual mini-sessions. The series focuses on essential components of the AVID elective, such as Focused Note-Taking, organization, tutorials, and team- building. Prerequisite: Participants must have completed AVID Elective Level 1: Implementation.

AVID Elective Level 1: Implementation This training is for new AVID elective teachers that were not able to attend Summer Institute or Ignite. To participate in this training, participants must register on MyAVID.org using their MyAVID account. This is the first of three trainings for AVID Elective teachers through AVID Center. Participants will learn the basic tenets of running an AVID Elective class including organization tools, tutorials, Focused Note-taking, and classroom culture. $645
