“We pride ourselves in being a bar that can make any drink if we have the ingredients, so please feel free to come in and order whatever you feel like,” said Jacobson. Lately the bar staff has been enjoying creating spritz cocktails (like the Sarti Spritz and Hugo Spritz ) and coming up with shots like Jacobson’s new favorite, the Jelly Donut . As far as atmosphere goes, there is open seating, two snugs for privacy, and a fan favorite—the patio. Adorned with its own full bar, the outdoor setup is a hot spot for happy hour and live music in the summer. “Something McNally’s has always been known for is our live music, and we’re keeping that tradition alive,” said Jacobson. “We’ll have live music almost every weekend both Friday and Saturday year round.” When summer season ends, the music will continue indoors with everything from modern rock to country to Irish music. Jacobson has been with McNally’s for 14 years, and says he’s worked with some of the best people in the industry. “I like to draw from those positive influences while infusing my own way of doing things with the ultimate goal of giving Sioux Falls not only a fun and lively pub experience, but also a quality, reliable place to sit for dinner and drinks with family, friends, and colleagues,” he said.
