The following graphs are a mid-year comparison of Fort Worth, TX (854,113) to benchmark cities with either a similar population or close in proximity. Comparable cities with their population noted in paren- theses include: Dallas, TX (1,197,816), Austin, TX (1,317,929), El Paso, TX (683,080), Charlotte- Mecklenburg, NC (731,424), Columbus, OH (860,090), Indianapolis, IN (855,164), Jacksonville, FL (880,619), and San Francisco, CA (870,887). Population data is based on the 2016 U.S. Census Bureau. Comparable data was received from the Major Cities Chiefs Association.
