Tennis: Indoor • AGES 4-8 Introduce your kids to a lifetime of tennis fun. Program focuses on the ABCs - agility, balance and coordination - using a variety of games, contests and other fun activities. This program provides a great introduction to the sport of tennis using special mini nets, smaller racquets, and red tennis balls. A tennis racquet is needed. A limited supply of racquets are available. Children should wear tennis shoes. During the first part of the lesson, parents assist their child using the ABCs - agility, balance and coordination - using fun, tennis-based activities. Children learn basic tennis skills utilizing the USTA’s 10-and-under tennis pathway on smaller courts using special racquets and red tennis balls. The second part of the lesson is dedicated to play; first with the child playing with the parent and later playing against other children with the parents as coaches. Children use our special mini racquets; regulation racquets are needed for parents. Fee is per couple; one parent per child registered. In case of rain, one makeup will be scheduled.
