Presented By Magical Starlight Theatre
Magical Starlight Theatre will hold actor auditions for its January 2027 production on Sat., September 26 from 1:00-7:00 pm and Sun., September 27 from 1:00-5:00 pm at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center (305 W. Jackson Ave., upper level). The production needs lead and supporting roles as well as a strong ensemble cast; youth and adult actors are welcome, but youth must be at least 9 years old. Prospective actors need to attend only one of the audition dates. Actors can sign up for an audition time slot at magicalstarlight.org. All auditioning actors are asked to prepare a specific vocal piece from Anastasia that pertains to the role they are auditioning for. Accompaniment is provided. Participants also will need to do a reading from the script as well as perform a dance audition. Please visit magicalstarlight.org for all audition materials. Once your audition group has performed all three audition aspects, you will be excused. Callbacks will be held Tuesday, September 29 at 6:00 pm. Rehearsals are generally scheduled for Sunday afternoons, and Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Please note all conflicts for rehearsals when signing up for auditions. All performances are mandatory. Eight performances are presented January 8-10 and 15-17 in the Naperville Central High School Auditorium. Friday performances are at 7:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday matinees are at 1:30 pm, and Saturday evening performances are at 6:30 pm.
