Ice Skating: Rocket Ice • AGES 4-14 The goal at Rocket Ice Arena is to provide a fun and safe environment for skaters to learn to skate and to be able to continue on in hockey or figure skating. From tot and up, lessons are presented in concise levels with each one focusing on skills that will serve as building blocks for future levels. After demonstrating mastery in one level, the student skater may proceed to the next. The curriculum works in conjunction with USFS Basic Skills Program that is taught in quality rinks worldwide. Please wear athletic pants and fleece jacket or similar fitted and warm jacket and bring gloves. Helmets are recommended. We have skates available to rent. Ice Skating: Seven Bridges • AGES 3-13 The Seven Bridges Ice Arena philosophy is that anyone can learn to ice skate if they try their best. All ice skating programs feature experienced instructors and free practice sessions. For practice times and more information, please contact Seven Bridges at 630-271-4400. Gloves/ mittens and helmets are recommended for skaters and hockey players. Buddy passes are $2 (skate rental not included). Skate rentals are $4 each or 11 for $40. Only one makeup class is allowed per session. (dn) TOTS 1 (AGES 4-5) - Beginners with no previous instruction. PARENT/TOT (AGES 3-5) - Beginners with no previous instruction. Players are introduced to fundamental badminton skills using drills and scrimmages. Emphasis includes grip, racquet positioning, serving, body balance and first step directional movement. Program concludes with a skills challenge and championship match. Fee includes all equipment. Led by Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. Parents are asked to remain outside of the gym.
