In this training, the attendees will explore essential needs of the bereaved, learn strategies for compassionate and thorough death notifications, and enhance their awareness of the emotional hazards of this crisis work. ADVOCACY NETWORK Whether you have been personally impacted by impaired driving, or you simply believe in the importance of preventing drunk and drugged driving, at MADD, your voice matters. Join our community of advocates in our mission to end this 100% preventable crime. When you join the MADD advocacy network, you will begin receiving updates on MADD’s policy efforts, progress and ways you can help.

the participant will have a greater understanding of the needs of bereaved individuals and appreciate the complexities of their role as a notifier. While the training is focused around Law Enforcement as the notifier, other individuals responsible for, or assisting with, making notifications are encouraged to register and attend. *Continuing Education credits can only be offered to Law Enforcement personnel at this time. Session Information Time : Depends on location, please see below Cost : $75/individual (to be invoiced after course completion) Credit : 4 POST credits along with MADD certificate of completion Session Details March 26th, 2024 – Bemidji (Hampton Inn & Suites, Bemidji) 8am-12pm March 27th, 2024 – Fort Ripley (Camp Ripley Education Center) 8am-12pm March 28th, 2024 – Faribault (Buckham Memorial Library) 9:30am-1:30pm Please use the link above on ‘REGISTER NOW’.
