City improves sewers

Work is currently underway to improve a storm sewer drain in the area of Legion Park, near the baseball diamonds. As part of the project, a storm sewer drain is being added to the ditch along Bergeron Drive. Improvements will also be made in the area of the parking lot south of the baseball diamonds. The project is being completed by Malyon Excavation. It was originally scheduled to be completed last fall, but the work is being done now to ensure the improvements are complete by the spring and the start of the baseball season. The present pipe installation work will be completed by the end of the week, and the contractor will then return in May to complete sod restoration. The work is not associated with the nearby storage tank site on the Cornwall Harbour. (FR)

Les filles ont remporté la médaille d’or de la division B, une victoire qu’elles ont attribuée à leur travail d’équipe et à leur dévouement.
