Member Service Representative
What I did: • Worked with members to assist in transactions in an efficient and friendly manner • Worked with several systems to process financial transactions, verify information with members and other institutions, and fill out proper forms required for certain transactions • Established connections within my direct department as well as those throughout the organization • Participated in community and company events through Simplicity including making benches for non-profit organizations, helping secure donations for United Way, and participating in Stevens Point Holiday Parade. What I liked: The people. Simplicity has an incredible staff that cares not only about their members, but the people they work with and the organization as a whole. Any questions that I had were happily answered by coworkers and managers alike and everyone was always eager to do their best to assist each other. Management was also eager to give positive feedback when it was due as well as constructive feedback. They also continually asked if there were things that they could do better for not only me, but things that I saw in the organization that could be improved. I never felt like I was out of place there and the great people I worked with made me happy to come in every day. It was great to know that I was seen as someone with real value and that from top to bottom, everyone worked together with a positive attitude and love for what they do. Simplicity is a great company to work for with knowledgeable, helpful, friendly people throughout and I really enjoyed learning and connecting with everyone. Future Dream Job: My dream job would be as a recruiter in the human resource field. Working with people and helping them start their careers is something that really excites me. When thinking of my dream job though I really think it comes down to having the right fit. Any organization could be my dream job as long as it is a place with a vision and people I can get behind. Simplicity has really helped me find out some of the things that can make working somewhere a real joy and not just a job.
