M3 AND ME
WITHOUT MY WONDERFUL TEAM NONE OF THIS WOULD BE POSSIBLE
• M : Make everyone you interact with feel significant. • D : Deliver your best in every situation • S : Strive for a healthy body and a peaceful mind. Establishing these values as a group has positively impacted our work culture and created a roadmap for us to follow. We can come together as a group and make decisions, implement new projects, and improve our patients’ experience. I’ve seen a positive increase among my team, and it brings me joy knowing they look forward to coming to work every day. Knowing that our values are impacting one another and also our patients is something I’m grateful for. Moreover, these values create unbreakable boundaries as we traverse the road toward our company’s higher purpose; Our whole purpose is your whole body health. Not only do our values pertain to my team and how we treat one another, but we treat our patients with the same respect — we want them to be in a happy and comfortable environment as well. Our patients have recognized how the team is as a unit. I’ve had several patients reach out and tell me how they appreciate the teamwork, unity, and bond my team and I share. We ensure that our values are used on all fronts — especially during the hiring process. I don’t look at how much experience someone has within the physical therapy realm. I want
Running a business is like being a captain of a ship: I need a clear goal and purpose to navigate my team and me to our next destination. I’m in charge of ensuring everything is running smoothly and in order. I know all the crucial functions and procedures that need to be in place for smooth sailing. But most importantly, I know I couldn’t do any of this without my crewmates — my incredible team. As a team we navigate through rough and calm waters to attain our goal, our higher purpose as a company: Our whole purpose, is your whole body health. For the past few years, we’ve been implementing strategies to improve our work culture and create an environment the team and patients will love and enjoy. Establishing a company culture is imperative because when the team and I can properly communicate, problem-solve, and work alongside each other, our service to our patients improves. This helps us be more effective at attaining our company purpose. One of the ways we improve our work culture is by coming together as a group to establish values that we all share. We have six core values that we honor and abide by every day. We created an acronym that helps the team, and I remember our values — W.E.B.M.D.S. • W : Work as a team to make each other’s lives easier. • E : Embrace change for a better... • B : Be honest and transparent.
to know if their values align with W.E.B.M.D.S. You can teach someone about the techniques, equipment, and processes we use at the facility. But you can’t teach someone how to have these values — that’s something innate inside an individual. I can’t thank my team enough for their hard work and dedication to M3 PT and our patients. The essence of our success as a company is built around the strength of our team culture. Our company will continue to grow and move toward our goals as long as we continue to stay united by the strength of our core values. These values will continue to guide us as we build the type of environment that each team member looks forward to each day — an environment that is as efficient as possible and allows for the healing of all of our patients. Finally, I also want to thank you, our patients, for trusting us and allowing us to assist you with your physical therapy needs. Everyone at M3 PT looks forward to providing you with the best care possible in 2023. Wishing you the happiest of holidays everyone!

IMPRESS THE GUESTS
With These Holiday Hosting Tips
what, when, where, and why when creating a resolution. The more specific you are, the better: It provides a framework and purpose for your goals. M - Measurable: How will you measure your progress? You can use a calendar or your phone to track when you do an activity that contributes to your overall goal. You can also take pictures of your progress so you have a visual representation of the changes you’re making to your body. A - Achievable: Be sure to ask yourself if your goal is realistic and specific enough to be achieved. You want to stay motivated, and if your resolutions are too broad, it can be hard to make progress. R - Relevant: Be sure that the strategies you will use to achieve your goals are relevant. If your resolution is to exercise more, you should USE THE S.M.A.R.T. METHOD will appreciate your conscientious gesture and have a much more enjoyable time if they can eat their favorites while visiting. Prepare a guest room. If your guests are staying with you, you need to prepare somewhere for them to sleep. Make sure you make up the bed, have plenty of pillows and blankets on hand, and provide adequate closet space for their clothes. Even if they aren’t staying in a traditional bedroom, their sleeping area should still be ready when they arrive. Clear off a table for them to use as a nightstand and put sheets on the couch or mattress where they’ll sleep. Use real dishes. When we have company over for a meal, especially a large gathering, it’s usually easier to use plastic or paper options — saves on cleanup, too! The holidays are
The holidays are rapidly approaching, and soon, we’ll share laughs while enjoying the festivities with our loved ones. Before the celebrations begin, you must prepare your home for visitors, especially if they stay overnight. It can be stressful whether it’s your in-laws, best friends, or distant cousins coming to stay with you. You want to leave a good impression, but how do you ensure everyone’s needs are met, including yours? Here are three tips for setting yourself up for a successful holiday, regardless of who stays with you. Stock up on your guests’ favorites. Have you ever stayed with someone who didn’t have extra food for their guests? Don’t put your guests in this situation. Load up your pantry, refrigerator, and cupboards with your guests’ favorite foods and drinks. If you don’t know what they are, ask ahead of their visit! Your guests
not necessarily the time for this shortcut. Break out the fine china if you have it, or use regular dishes for your guests. It’s okay for the kids to have paper plates, but if you want to make a good impression on visiting adults, nicer dishes will dress up the table setting and meal.
WHEN CREATING YOUR NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS
also include the steps you will take to work out more. What exercises will you do? How will you incorporate actions into your daily routine to help you meet your resolutions? T - Time: Adding a deadline will help you stay on track and motivated. But don’t make your deadline at the end of the year — this will make it easier to lose sight of your goals and not accomplish them. Break your yearly goals down into monthly or quarterly goals so it’s easier for you to achieve and measure your progress. We use S.M.A.R.T. goals when working with our patients every day. So, if you or someone you know needs assistance in creating your health and fitness resolutions for the new year, your friends at M3 PT can assist you. We can help you find areas to improve and develop strategies that will aid you on your journey.
As we approach 2023, many of us are creating our New Year’s resolutions. These goals can consist of improving your posture, incorporating physical exercise into your daily routine, stretching more often, and more. Unfortunately, many New Year’s resolutions are abandoned shortly into the new year. To help you accomplish your goals, it’s best if you create S.M.A.R.T. goals. These goals allow you to create strategies that will help you accomplish your goals. Let’s break down what each letter in S.M.A.R.T. stands for and how you can use them as you pursue your New Year’s resolutions.
S - Specific: You want your goal to be as specific as possible. Think about the who,
