STADIUM:

SYNTHETIC TURF Based upon the fields’ age and fiber condition, it is recommended to replace the turf field as soon as possible. G-max testing is within acceptable limits; however, average turf height is well below original specifications and field performance is likely compromised. Replacement of the turf system consists of removal of turf and infill, inspection of resilient base pad and stone base and repair / replacement as warranted.

Turf Replacement Cost Projections  Removal / Disposal

RUNNING TRACK & EVENTS The running track and field event surfaces are showing signs of typical wear and resurfacing should be considered in the near future. There are two basic methods of resurfacing, spray coating and flood & chip. The spray coating is the installation of 1-2 mm of polyurethane sprayed over the existing surface. The flood & chip method provides a 4-5 mm coating of polyurethane and a crumb rubber finished surface. Comparatively, the spray surface should be applied every 5 – 8 years depending on wear and the flood method every 10 – 15 years depending on wear. Track Resurfacing Cost Projections  Repairs +/- $ 10,000  Structural Spray Resurfacing. +/- $135,000  Flood & Chip Resurfacing +/- $245,000  Line Striping / Graphics +/- $ 15,000 Sub-Total: +/- $160,000 - $270,000 Contingency 15% +/- $ 24,000 - $40,500 Estimated Total: +/- $184,000 - $310,500
