Not So Buried T REASURES of The Islands The swashbuckling legends and lore of Sanibel and Captiva are replete with nasty pirate captains and beautiful maiden captives. And while there’s no telling really where fiction meets fact, it’s fairly given that skull-and- crossbones types walked our beaches and, perchance, buried a treasure.
