QUILTS AND PRINTS April 3-29 Eliza Brewster has been designing and sewing art quilts since 1985. Her work has been shown in galleries across the United States and France, as well as the Museum of American Folk Art in New York. Here’s your opportunity to view a unique take on art. The exhibit is open daily; a special Artist’s Reception will be held April 11, 5.30 PM–7 PM at BIG Arts. For additional information: www.bigarts.org. BEYOND THE REFRIGERATOR DOOR May 3-30 This exhibit features artwork created by students from Cypress Lake Middle and High Schools, Lexington Middle School and Sanibel School, as well as works from the Art by Kids with Cancer Project. Proceeds of the event will benefit families facing the financial challenges of childhood cancer. A Family Day and Artists’ Reception will be held May 4, from 3 PM–5 PM.
