T rade Electric Santry has been Great customer service, accessibility and good parking attract a varied mix of customers. From electrical contractors, builders and plumbers to the general public and passing trade, the well- stocked trade counter meets these needs, staffed by a knowledgeable team who are familiar with all products available to customers. operating on Dublin’s northside for the past 10 years. “Our team has an extremely wide base of expertise, from industrial contracting to retail and everything in between,” says Damian Gore, Branch Manager. “The stock we hold covers all the bases; from serving the cable needs of the contractor right through to the smallest bulb for the retail market.” Customer satisfaction is high on the agenda and with two busy delivery vans ready to travel around Dublin and beyond, customers can be assured of the highest level of same day service. “We go out of our way to help our customers. It doesn’t matter how small it is, if we don’t have it in stock, we’ll do our best to get it for you.”

Like all Trade Electric Group branches, Santry invests heavily in stock control and only sources from reputable and quality driven manufacturers. An extensive range of lighting products is available along with the most innovative electrical equipment on the market on display in the dedicated lighting showroom. A big seller right now is garden lighting, which has exploded in the retail market side of the business. “We’ve gone garden crazy!” said Damian. “Since the first lockdown there has been a huge upturn in business from both the general public wanting to spend money on their garden and our trade customers fulfilling that demand. In some cases spending substantial amounts of money on lighting and associated products such as cables. It’s hard to keep the garden lighting products on the shelves they’re selling so strongly.” EV chargers are another growing product category. “As contractors become more familiar with EV chargers and get involved with installation, this sector will really take off.” As Trade Electric Group turns 50; Damian said being part of such a well-established

brand was really important to the team. “Having that kind of history behind you provides reassurance to our customers. People know we have the products, the knowledge base and integrity to deliver what they need, when they need it.”
