John Kane, known professionally as DJ Shauty, is a Madison-based DJ with more than a decade of experience promoting and hosting parties and events. He works full time as an environmental service supervisor for the UW Hospital, but his enjoyment comes from exciting and entertaining crowds. Shauty began promoting parties in 2005 after he frequently became the center of attention at gatherings he initially attended as a guest.
