and then there was a situation where the regulator had to say, ‘Okay, what are we going to do with this industry? How can we get control of it?’ And I visited and talked about a platform where you can discuss where you can bring the industry together with the regulators and the legislators. I was at a conference in Munich, by someone with a long history in Germany of educating the administration and fighting cybersecurity and so forth. So it’s a good education platform for a couple of years. They also take care of gambling regulations. And at that conference, the spokesperson of the Bavarian parliament for legal and constitutional affairs said she would like to have an external company called TUV which was testing the cars on the street. So, if you have a car that is not safe during an inspection TUV then it fails the test and you are not allowed to drive on the street. So they use this this external testing body to come up with quality criteria for arcades and this was another real consultation. At the end, there were a lot of amusement arcades that were closed and, of course, operators were not happy, but at the end, they have learned how to use the quality standard. So the regulator on a community level, on a state level, and on a federal level, were all involved, were happy. As Birgitte said about staff, if you don’t have enough staff, you can ask at least hire them as agents or as auditors. So that really worked. So if you find the right platform that each field trusts, so regulator, legislator and industry and their partners industry, meaning also the B2B operators, the testing labs and so forth. We have it in Germany, it has a long tradition. Build a platform everyone trusts, then work on the definition, what is quality? What is good regulation? And of course, you have the more Social Democratic politicians, and maybe also regulatory authorities, like Lower Saxony that have a long tradition in being very restrictive, but that’s fine and you have others that are more open to the industry. But at the end, bring all the positions together to find a neutral platform, a quality standard that at the end works. How does it work? Well, if there are no cars on the street anymore, it’s clear that you were to strict with testing. If only safe cars are on the street, you say yes, accidents happen. For gambling, addiction is our equivalent of a car accident; something you cannot eradicate. It is impossible. However, you have to be safe. So this is a really common understanding. We’re not there yet. But I’m hopeful that with the right platform with the right people to be introduced to that organized roundtable and include lobbyists. Why not? If they’re transparent, and we have laws for transparency, fighting corruption because corruption, that’s a no-no. QM Finally some pearls of wisdom and with that I thank you very much.
