About the Author

Deborah Guarino wrote Is Your Mama a Llama? after meeting a real llama at the Central Park petting zoo in New York! She is an author,journalist,editor,playwright,advertising copywriter,and portrait artist and has lived in London and Manhattan.She now lives near a lake in New Jersey with her two talented sons,Josh and Daniel, and a menagerie of animals that includes everything from a parrot to a pigeon rescued on Broadway. She has no llamas—yet—but lives near a pair that parade around the lake on holidays!

About the Illustrator

Steven Kellogg has published over a hundred popular books for children, including five Pinkerton books, Pecos Bill , and How Much is a Million? He is one of today’s favorite author-illustrators.
