About the Author/Illustrator
Chris Raschka has written and illustrated a number of award-winning books for children, including ALA Notable Book Charlie Parker Played Be Bop , The Blushful Hippopotamus , Can’t Sleep , Elizabeth Imagined an Iceberg , and Mysterious Thelonious . He received the Caldecott Medal in 2006 for his illustrations for The Hello, Goodbye Window by Norton Juster. Mr. Raschka lives with his wife and son in New York City.
