ENRICHING LIVES THROUGH RECREATION

As an extension of the PARK DISTRICT OF FOREST PARK , WSSRA provides our residents recreational programs for individuals with disabilities of all ages and ability level. Programs offered include fitness, Special Olympics, social activities, art, camps, swimming, and excursions. Participants in WSSRA programs develop skills, make friends, boost self-confidence, explore new places, and have fun. WSSRA also has a Lekotek family-based toy lending and play program available.

WSSRA is proud to celebrate 50 years of enriching the lives of individuals with special needs through inclusive, impactful, and engaging recreation programs.
