Bike Safety Check Prizes + Parade
Join us for a free, family-friendly event focused on bike safety, skills, and community fun. Enjoy bike decorating, a skills course and safety education with Ride Illinois, bike safety checks from Play It Again Sports, and a bike parade through the park at 11:00 AM. Learn about local biking opportunities with the Illinois Prairie Path. Free bike helmets are available to participants who pre-register by May 15, 2026 at 4:00 PM (limited supply). Refreshments available from Cool Truck Treats.

Experience the joy of Christmas in July at the Park District of Forest Park! Holiday Decorations will be on display around the park. Day campers will be treated to a cheerful holiday party. Enjoy seasonal music by the pool. Indulge in special holiday snacks at the concession stands and get ready for even more delightful surprises ahead. Friday, July 17 | 12-8:30pm Christmas in July Flick N’ Float Float around and watch Elf at 8:15pm.
