2026 Plant Source International Catalog

PSI PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE… Another Spring season is over and it is time to plan and consider what to do for next season. Plant Source International appreciates all of the support given by our customers and the sales companies. It is because of all of you that PSI can work on producing many important plants that are not widely available. Thank you to everyone for the support and feedback on helping us become a better supplier and producer. So, what has changed for PSI for the coming season. We continue to add new varieties within series from Westhoff, Volmary, and Plant Haven International. But there are some new items that really fill out the offerings and give our customers a broader selection to choose from. One example is the additions from Plant Haven of the Salvia Bodacious Hummingbird Falls (purple) and the new variety, Hummingbird Falls Blue, to our already existing options of Bodacious Rhythm & Blues and Smokey Jazz. Another addition new to PSI but not new on the market is the Cuphea Hummingbird’s Lunch. There seems to be a Hummingbird theme coming from Plant Haven lately. On a sad note of change, PSI has ended the 20 plus year relationship with Danziger of offering some of their genetics. We have continued this relationship for years with limited access to the newer genetics offered by Danziger, but it has come time to let these older Danziger genetics go and embrace newer genetics and build on growing relationships. We regret the inconvenience this may cause and have tried to add genus to match the loss of Danziger product.

Highlights of the new offerings to consider:

Regal geraniums – two new colors in the Candy Flowers series, Bicolor Improved and Red w/Stripe, and an improved Candy Flowers Violet. These improvements bring a more managed plant habit along with early flowering and heavy flowering.

Isotoma Stella Superb Blue – Not a well-known genus, but this variety shows off well with an abundance of larger, bright blue flowers.

Lobelia – Africo series from PAC Elsner. This series boasts far greater performance in hot, sunny conditions. You may really want to try these out to have some comparisons to varieties you may already be growing. They will hold up well in mixed baskets all summer long. Lobelia – Firefly from Westflowers. These are smaller bicolor flowers, but with a lot of them. Unique in the brightness of the flowers and the radiance of the colors. Westflowers also has introduced the first silver colored Lobelia with Stratus Sterling. Unique and worth a trial.

Pericallis – PSI has stepped into producing URC of Pericallis Senetti from Suntory for the coming season. There are some amazing colors to consider.

Verbena – PeekABoo, a new series from Westflowers. They have large bright colors with a large white eye. Really very nice. The other new series is from Suntory. It is not really new to the market but the varieties have been improved and updated with these three Tapien offerings. Wishing everyone a great season ahead, Troy Lucht and all the people that actually make it happen at PSI As always, thankful for everyone’s support and wish all a great season ahead.
