3. Remove the plastic film.

• Peel off the protective plastic layer from the front. • If it’s a double-sided hardboard, remove the plastic from both sides.

4. Prepare your print.

• Cut your printed design slightly bigger than the coaster so the edges hang over.

5. Position your print.

• Place the design against the white sublimation side of the coaster. • Flip the coaster and print together so the print is on top and the brown back side faces down on the Teflon sheet. • Use heat tape on the overhanging edges of the print to stick it to the Teflon sheet (not over the coaster). This keeps everything in place without damaging the wood.

We do not recommend applying heat tape directly to the back of the coaster. Heat and moisture can soften the wood, which may cause small pieces to lift when the tape is removed. Also, if tape is placed on the white printable surface over the printed design, instead of from the overhanging paper edges to the Teflon sheet, it can leave visible indent marks after pressing.

6. Press for 190°C/ 360°F and 90 seconds. When Time is up, open the press, remove the print, DONE!
