Stubbings et Alexander Caulfield, a marqué le troisième et dernier but de la soirée pour Hawkesbury. Dimanche à Carleton Place, les Hawks ont maintenu un rythme régulier d’un but marqué pour chaque période de leur match contre les Canadiens. Brandon Clarke a marqué le premier point pour Hawkesbury au début de la première période, avec l’aide de Stubbings. Dorion, avec une aide de Caulfield, a donné aux Hawks leur deuxième point au tableau et a égalisé le score en deuxième période. Au début de la troisième période, profi- tant d’une occasion de jeu de puissance, Nicholas Brennan a marqué le troisième but de Hawkesbury, avec des aides de Clarke et Gagné. Les Canadiens ont égalisé le score sur leur propre avantage numérique dans la dernière moitié de la période. Les Loups de Renfrew les ont battus 6-3 sur leur patinoire vendredi soir dernier au Complexe sportif Robert Hartley, puis les Hawks ont perdu dimanche 4-3 en prolongation contre les Canadiens de Carleton Place. Les Hawks ne se sont pas inscrits au tableau d’affichage avant la deuxième période. Les Loups menaient 2-0 au début de la période lorsque Rémi Gelinas a brisé la glace pour les Hawks cinq minutes après le début de la deuxième période en marquant le premier but de Hawkesbury. Jakson Kirk a aidé Gelinas sur le but. Les Loups ont marqué un autre point une minute plus tard. Puis Antoine Dorion, avec l’aide de Kirk, a donné aux Hawks leur deuxième but de la soirée. Renfrew a répliqué avec deux autres buts dans la deuxième moitié de la période, dont un sur un avantage numérique. Pen- dant la dernière minute de la deuxième période. Vankleek Hill Cougars won both their weekend games to take all four pos- sible point in two 6-2 victories against Metcalfe Jets and Westport Rideaus. Cougars took two point away against Metcalfe Jets Friday night. Cougars were leading by one goal at the end of the second period but scored three in the third to put the game safely away. On Saturday, Cougars let 3-0 after two period. Westport managed to score two goals

The EOSSAA tournaments for both soccer and ultimate frisbee will take place in spring as leagues in other regions are scheduled later in the school year. VCI Rebels teams are starting new seasons in senior boys’ basketball, boys’ hockey, and girls’ volleyball. Schools in Prescott-Russell have added a third tear to their junior girls’ volleyball league, with VCI, ESCRH, L’Escale and RDHS fielding 2 junior teams to allow more girls to play.
The Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute’s senior boys soccer and varsity ultimate frisbee teams qualify for EOSSAA. The Senior boys soccer team lost to Saint- Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School by a score of 1-0 in the semi-finals. VCI will still represent Prescott-Russell in the A division as they were the only ‘A’ school to make it to the semi-finals. The Varsity ultimate-frisbee team won
