Greetings … This won ’ t be a very long article as I wanted to be sure everyone who made a hole in one was given due recognition. It ’ s truly part skill and part luck to make a HIO. It can happen anytime, like Margaret Galipeau who made her first on #9. Sorry if I ’ ve left anyone off. So be sure to let the Starter Shack know if you ’ ve made a HIO because only those who make a HIO can enter the HIO Tournament in March.

We ’ ve just held our infamous String Tournament where golfers encountered a toilet seat, tunnels to putt through, pickleballs and tennis balls to putt with. It ’ s all entertaining. If you didn ’ t play this year, try it next year. It ’ s all fun. Check out the photos. However, February is our busiest month with our ever popular Sweetheart Tournament and our 3rd annual CanAm Tournament. You ’ ll get to see the photos and read about it in next month ’ s issue. So until then …… Yours truly, Deanna Joe, Golf Secretary
