Each class is 60 minutes. well attended. We incorporate walking, strength training, and stretching. Classes are held on Tuesday morning at 8 am taught by me and Thursday evening at 5:30 PM by Cindy Rose.
February is still a season of renewed purpose and mo- tivation. As the new year offers a new start, many find themselves reflecting on their lifestyles, fueled with the ambition to adopt healthier, more balanced lives ….. For some, this means setting health goals, such as losing weight, following a healthier diet, and starting an exercise routine. However, more often than not, the health and wellness resolutions chosen are highly restrictive and unsustainable, leading most people to break their resolutions within a few weeks. This is why many people make the same resolutions year after year. To break that cycle, it ’ s important to make resolutions that can not only improve health but also be followed for life. Make easy resolutions to follow. Just to name a few …. • Eat more vegetables • Go to bed earlier • Create a doable cleaning schedule • Spend more time with family • Cook a new healthy recipe weekly • Start a new workout routine • Plan a new vacation • Start volunteering • Clean out your wardrobe • Drink more water • Try something new each month These are just a few ideas. Now come up with your own. Make it a happy and successful New Year! Gym notes: It ’ s flu season, PLEASE, clean your equipment after each use!!! I shouldn ’ t have to remind people when I am in there. There are several flu bugs in the resort, with lots of people sick.
