Every Friday until Oct. 25: Moonlight Movies Moonlight Movies kicked off this summer at Carneros Resort and Spa. Every Friday, head out to Farm Restaurant & Bar, 4048 Sonoma Highway, and watch a movie under the stars. Snack on complimentary popcorn and cozy up to your loved ones on the lawn. Along with the wine-themed movie, attendees can try their hand at some outdoor games like bocce and chess. If popcorn isn’t cutting it there will also be small plates available for purchase, inspired by the movies featured each week. Outside food, drinks and chairs are not permitted. Sept. 8: Calistoga Harvest Table The 2024 Calistoga Harvest Table is set for Sept. 8. Head out to Downtown Calistoga, 1457 Lincoln Ave., and enjoy carefully curated harvest season menus from the 12 participating restaurants. Experience a unique dining experience as you sit down to eat at a 1,000-foot table down Lincoln Avenue. Guests can mingle from 4:30 to 6 p.m. before dinner. Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase wine from the 16 local wineries participating. Tickets go on sale beginning July 26 at noon, prices range from $150 to $200. Sept. 20: Farmstead Live Fire Dinner with Johan Jureskog Farmstead Live Fire Dinners, 738 Main St. in St. Helena, features a variety of chefs and their specially curated menus, crafted over a live fire pit. On Sept. 20, attendees will experience farm-to- table dining and engage in conversation at the Farmstead communal tables while dining on family-style courses paired with organically grown wines. From 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. chef Johan Jureskog, also known as “The Meat Chef,” will put a traditional Swedish twist on each course. Tickets are $250 per guest and can be purchased on longmeadowranch.com.
Sept. 13-14: Cooking Class: Tapas & Paella Participants will learn how to make classic Spanish cuisine, tapas and paella! So, what’s on the menu? To start: watermelon gazpacho, tortilla española with romesco sauce and fried green olives stuffed with chorizo, fideos with calamari and shrimp. At the table: braised pork and linguiça sausage, seafood paella and paella with chicken and an olive oil cake with roast peaches and honey mascarpone. The three-course lunch will be paired with Cakebread Cellar wines, 8300 St. Helena Highway. Tickets are $275 per person or $250 for club members and can be purchased on cakebread.com.
